bluetooth problem

i don't know if this has already been listed, mainly because 22 pages of complaints is way too much to read right now. my bluetooth isn't working properly anymore in the sense that now when i push the voice command button on my headset it activates it on the phone not in the headset. meaning that it opens up voice command (the regular voice tag option that comes with the phone) but i have to talk into the phone not my headset and it plays back my tag through the speaker phone not in my headset, dials the call, then connects it through to my headset. i hope that makes sense to everyone.

Yes - in effect it seems that Calendar, Contacts and Tasks are being treated in much the same way as email: they can only be synched from one computer or another but not both. The only thing I that might be responsible is the fact that both computers have an exchange account as the primary account so they are both .ost files that contain the items to be synchronized. That shouldn't effect the pocket pc, however, as I am having the 6700 synchronizing with the desktop rather than exchange server.

I agree. You should be bale to sync both. Well, I am out of ideas, minus another hard reset of course...

Either that or a complete uninstall of Outlook/Activesync on both computers, in addition to a hard reset.

... or I just synchronize with one computer instead.

On a different note, I used a phone profile switching program (found here) and it does not seem to work with 3.3. Basically what happens is on soft reset, the today screen does not load any plugins. I have posted in the program's forums, but since this is a cooked ROM, I realize there might be things the author does not know about. Any ideas?

Yeah I have no idea what you are talking about but I know what you mean...lol

Mine is having similar issues and I've been f'n around all morning trying to figure it out. After installing and reinstalling, msvc 1.6 has got a mind of its own going on. Might be just a conflict with the com ports or something though cause as soon as I would re-pair my headset and reinstall vc I would then have an error with bluetooth activesync which I had to keep connecting to make it sync.

I had the same problem with that app. with my cooked rom. It totally messed up my bluetooth to hte point that I was unable to turn bluetooth on and off via comm manager (it would say it was off, but the blue light kept flashing). Uninstalling the program did not fix. I ended up hard resetting and did not reinstall the program.

installed AUk 3.3 to my PPC-6700 everyt hing went great and the new OS is FAST and makes my pda actually useful again.

one BIG issue that i can not find info on anywhere (the abily to search a thread as most BB support would be KEY on this site)

I put in all my old exchange info. and then when i go to sync i get an error saying there is not enough free space to complete the sync.

i get this same error even if i only tell it to sync my contacts.

what is the deal? anyone know?

thanks

I have started a thread on his forums to see if he can help with this:
