I'm using iGuidance 3.01. When I installed the AKU 3.3, I did hard reset the ROM with the miniSd inside. I'm going to hard reset w/o the card when I get home. Hopefully it will help w/ the iGuidance and disappearing miniSD problems.

Just had my first DSOD tonight. Fixed itself with a quick removal/reinstertion of the mSD card. But it was locked up.

I have this same question. I have read through this hole thread and unless I missed something this hasn't been addressed y-et. If it has please post on what page. Thanks
I assume you both are talking about it not opening in PIE on the sprint picture mail page? I had this happen also. My first thought was the new PIE user agent string to 6.0. Haven't had a chance to really check this out. Someone might try the reg edits to change back to 4.1 or whatever it was to see if that helps.
I'm having the same problem. I went into the registry:
HKLM-Software-Microsoft-Windows-CurrentVersion-Internet Setting- 5.0-User Agent:
Changed the MSIE from 6.0 back to 4.01 but nothing happened. Was I suppose to change anything else? According to the Virgin Sprint Registry I got from PPC6700users.com forum that was the only item that needed to be changed. After the reset and startup of PIE everything remained the same, even though the registry was changed. I'm not sure if anything esle is needed, but I would sure like the ability to view my picture mail from my phone back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

For those having bt suspend issues (where your bt won't reconnect properly once the device goes into power-save/suspend):

I think I've managed to get this working. The entry needs to get put in as a normal value and not specifically a DWORD entry (used resco registry).

Also an additional quite useful guide on some registry hacks (related):

iGuidance still crashes after downgrading to AKU2.2, reinstalling AKU3.3 and hard-reset. I did all three w/o the miniSD. Doing so did fix the disappearing miniSD, but not the iGuidance issue.

I suspect it has more to do with full-screen mode and/or the theme.ini

To anyone using iGuidance with AKU3.3, please give me a detailed rundown on the settings (mine are in parantheses and are the same when I was using AKU 2.2)

Where did you install (storage card/program files)
What version of iGuidance (3.01)
What kind of GPS unit, COM port, baud rate (Holux GPSlim 236, COM 4, Baud 38400)
What keys are binded to what? (3D mode - button 4, avoid road - button 5, enter destination - action, menu - right[I used to have right binded to fullscreen, but that guarantees a crash], route list - left)

Are you using a theme.ini? (yes, then, no. No is a bit more stable, but doesn't fix the problem)

Anyhow once I did the last hard reset it works like a breeze now.

you must sync to activesync as the contacts pim.vol file is different with builds less than AKU 3.3. If you backed up your pim.vol file as you should always do before or have a back up image you might want to explore that option.

You pim.vol file is useless from a pre3.3 build unless you synced over via activesync.

LMK if you have any more questions. You will lose your speeddials as well. except VM on 1 of course!
Thanks, guys!

After re-reading the directions, I got my Contacts to import properly for Outlook.

This thread (and forum, of course!) is awesome!

I just did the upgrade on my Bell branded 6700 and took a quick jaunt with iguidance.

In answer to your questions...

1) Installed on SD card (not re-installed, just run from before)
2) Globestat BT-338, COM6, unsecured, 4800
3) All defaults
4) no

didn't crash on my 15 min drive to the office today...
