Thanks - I have reset a few times but I haven't cleared my temp files. My temp subfolder on the root is empty - should I go somewhere else to clear those temp files?

FYI - I have a PPC 6700 if any of this helps.

Sorry, no luck. I hadn't tried PIE so I doubt I had anything there but I have since cleared it and no luck. I'll be happy to set you up with an account on my exchange server to see if it has anything to do with the certificate but I am able to sync with this exchange server for the previous rom's. It has all the latest MS patches on the exchange server for Exchange and Win2k3.

Also,

Could you please tell me what the new icons/buttons are for in the communication manager -
PDA w/2 arrows
The sync button - it goes straight to active sync - doesn't seem to turn on or off things,
the dot with the expanding waves?

That's OK, I'm guessing this AKU might not work in some environments. If you get curious, I'll be happy to set up an account for you to test on my exchange server.

Finally got this loaded. Great work Helmi

Has anyone loaded this with an Extended Rom? I went ahead and packaged my custom extended rom before I did the install. During boot up, I get to the Email setup screen and the Extended Rom starts loading before I can enter the Email info. Anyone else have this happen?

I was using the standard UTSTAR updated rom - not 2.2 or anything but the one from Sprint/UTSTAR and I had the same issue. I started to fill it out and then it did the rest of the package install. I'm wondering if that is what is causing my exchange issues even though I completed the exchange info afterwards.

Well hot damn. I am fully up and running.

*that* is speck-freaking-tackular.

FYI - I went with an empty extended rom (I have copied my extended rom to my storage card) - after the hard reset she came up totally naked, and I manually installed the needed cabs - soft reset - rand a customer initiated iota - and that got EVDO networking up.

I think I've still gotta do the PRL update thing... gotta track down the cab file here

Wide, I know you didn't make this, but I give you FULL CREDIT for making it happen - man you just added 2 years of life to my ppc. You rock harder then an iPhone

Now off to tweak the registry
