Where did you find: BatteryStatus Beta1 v0.03.300 Build 153? Can't "Google" it...
You can find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=270751
And the developers website is here: http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_BatterySt..._WM5_iM_cs.htm

What is the Voice Speed Dial Reg keys edit do? This is a new one for me. Could you post it?
Delete the following keys... Sorry I forgot where I found these so I can't pass the credit on. These basically remove the Control Panel Icon and some dropdown menues from Contacts (well I think it's just in Contacts). I haven't hunted down the CLSID, but thats next on the hit list

Code:
[HKLM\ControlPanel\VoiceTagCPL]

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extensions\ContextMenus\Contacts\Main_ContextMenu\{2C0E9904-F32D-4f53-875F-479F5CA81E18}]

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extensions\ContextMenus\Contacts\Main_Tools\{2C0E9904-F32D-4f53-875F-479F5CA81E18}]

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extensions\ContextMenus\Contacts\Summary_Tools\{2C0E9904-F32D-4f53-875F-479F5CA81E18}]
Oh... Almost forgot... Delete \Windows\Startup\SDDaemon.lnk as well.

This is all I have found so far that can be removed without editing the ROM. Though I haven't gotten that eager yet to kill everything

I stated earlier that my PPCProfiles Pro today plugin does not always show on a soft reset. I have looked into it further, and after reading the developers forums, this is just a known bug in the program. Sometimes it just conflicts with other today plugins, and he doesnt know why. So it appears it is not an issue with this custom rom.

Seeing as how that was my only problem, looks like everything is great with the beta rom.

Well, I just got the beta installed. Altogether, everything took about 1.5 hours. I first hard reset, then installed the latest Sprint ROM update to upgrade the radio stack and get the new ext. rom programs. I then installed those ext. rom programs to insure that the phone operated normally. Hard reset again. Installed custom Beta rom. Soft reset before Sprint ext. rom installs. Then installed what I wanted from the ext. rom. Here are some specs I got in the process:
Sprint ROM without Extended ROM programs installed:
Storage Memory: 40.92
Program Memory: 34.36
Sprint ROM with Extended ROM programs installed:
Storage Memory: 37.52
Program Memory:30.39
Custom ROM without Extended ROM programs installed(I did install Total Commander before taking this reading, oops):
Storage Memory: 40.04
Program Memory: 34.60
Custom ROM with Extended ROM programs installed:
Storage Memory: 37.54
Program Memory: 34.13

One thing that always confuses me is which of those (storage or program) is like PC RAM and which is like hard drive space. Know what I mean? Anyway, I just got it installed, and it functions, but that is as far as I've gotten. I'll play with it and post again later.

Ok... Maybe this is just me... But to rule the ROM out I have to ask. When I forward a message with the Built-In mail client it no longer includes the message.

Replying works fine, shaded in gray is the original message. One thing to note though. The header is forwarded, the subject and from, but not the body.

Anyone else? ... Or did I do this to myself some how, and if so, any suggestions?

Yea I removed the today screen items in the system tray. I like a clean today screen. As far as forwards they appear to work fine for me. Oh and ur feedbacks not going unread. I'm sitting back, watching, reading, trying to see what is my fault and what maybe a 3rd party softwares fault.

I've now installed SPB Backup and done a backup. After a couple soft resets I'm not having any problems with my today screen stuff disappearing. I hadn't noticed that you automagically removed the stuff on the bottom task bar. I always went in and did that myself, so one less step! I've got the following running and all is OK:
Total Commander
PHM Regedit
TRE Regedit
VoiceCommand 1.6
Bad Sector's Caller ID Transfer to bluetooth
A bunch of Vijay555's programs
Wisbar Advance 2
ClearTemp
WM5torage
UPX4PPC

Still plan to setup/install:
TCPMP
PushMail program
iLauncher 2.3 (it played nicer with WA2 than iL3 did last time I tried)
PaulyA phone dialpad skin
Edit: Also TrianglePowers PPC6700 Hacks

So far, I love the faster reboot time. Altel splash screen is nice. Just to clarify, CF2 still is not in here correct? If not, then I'll need to get that in for some programs I'll play with later.

Current program memory: 27.67
Current storage memory: 26.62

I still don't have everything reinstalled, but I used to run 23 MB program memory after a reboot. Seems to be quite a bit higher now. I'll have to see what happens once all is installed.
