Seems pretty stable to me. No issues I haven't worked out yet. Battery life seems to be able the same to me...always has been crappy :P

I have a suggestion...what about a (temporary?) subforum for the AKU beta so it doesn't get mixed up with the rest of the regular threads?

Should this custom ROM work with any PPC 6700? I'm with Bell Mobility (Canadian) and would rather not brick my phone if this ROM was never intended for it.

Sounds like amazing work. The Todays issues worries me, I'll probably wait for Beta 2 before I give it a shot.

So far so good. Installed the custom ROM about 15 minutes ago with no problem. I'm in the process of adding my apps and configuring OpenDNS, but so far no problems whatsoever.

Good work!

I finished getting all my stuff on there, including iLauncher and .Net CF2. All is still well. Would LOVE it if CF2 made it into the ROM.

My battery life has greatly improved. I am still running mine clean IE: with no added software. Side note, the internet, in side by side testing with my 700wx, 6700 is now faster and has been running with no lockups. I am going to try tethering and do a speed test today and see if data speed has something to do with it. Just seams like using the PPC's alone the 6700 is rendering the page faster than the 700wx. They are close tho, where before the update the 700wx won every time

Ok... Back to my Request to have Cyberon Voice Speed Dial Removed.

Registry Keys:
Code:
[HKCRCLSID\{2C0E9904-F32D-4f53-875F-479F5CA81E18}]

[HKCR\CLSID\{71D2DA40-5BE7-411D-976E-746238451234}]

[HKLM\ControlPanel\VoiceTagCPL]

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extensions\ContextMenus\Contacts\Main_ContextMenu\{2C0E9904-F32D-4f53-875F-479F5CA81E18}]

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extensions\ContextMenus\Contacts\Main_Tools\{2C0E9904-F32D-4f53-875F-479F5CA81E18}]

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extensions\ContextMenus\Contacts\Summary_Tools\{2C0E9904-F32D-4f53-875F-479F5CA81E18}]
Remove these Registy ONLY in the ROM:
Code:
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway]
"Capability"
"BTAGExtModule"
"SupportCLI"

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Speech]

[HKLM\Software\OEM\VoiceCommand]
Remove These Files (All but one are on the ROM):
Code:
\Windows\BTAGExtModule.dll
\Windows\ContactCmd.exe
\Windows\ContactSDmenu.dll
\Windows\SDDaemon.exe
\Windows\SDDaemon.lnk
\Windows\SDDialer.exe
\Windows\VoiceTag.bmp
\Windows\VoiceTagCpl.cpl
\Windows\VSDApp.bin
\Windows\VSDdbMgr.dll
\Windows\VSDSIMInfor.bin
\Windows\VSRsd_com.dll
\Windows\VSRsd_com.ini
\Windows\Startup\SDDaemon.lnk
Well with out having a ROM to edit I'm not 100% on this. But I used an old installer CAB to reverse the install for all the keys and files. As for performance diference... Ya got me, but size on the ROM, about 500kb in savings. And there are istallers out there that could be added to a custom extended ROM for all that want this. But who wants this when you have MS Voice Command installed

I have started loading a couple of things today and I started with BTTogle, and CF 2.0 I am trying to listen to music with my bluetooth. When I make the connection and start listening to music it only works for about 20 seconds than disconnects any ideas. Its like the same cycle as voice command it connects plays for a few seconds than disconnects

Big D5, what that sounds like it could be is the WM5 BT issue, microsoft released a patch out for it but they claim you need to be running a stock install to put their patch into (which has to be BS).

Mike I'm not sure if you answered it already, however I did link directly to MS's kb about the bluetooth fix, any chance that can be incorporated into the rom?
