Ouch!! Today was the first full day with the new build and battery has really suffered. Today was a somewhat lower use day than typical. Battery is usually around 60% this time of day - but is 10% today.

You guys should start looking into using ACBPowerMeter which shows current and average mAh usage:
http://www.winmobiletech.com/sekalai...PowerMeter.CAB

and maybe some type of tasks/processes viewer that'll show actual CPU usage for individually running files e.g.:
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...ager-v2-2.html

That'll be the only way to really see if there is a difference between the regular ROM vs. the custom.

lol, I didn't mean to include in the ROM just that if people are having battery concerns e.g. they think the device is now getting poor battery life after the custom ROM update, they could use the above tools to figure out what system process is causing the battery drain since you'll see what file is using the CPU and how much mAh is increased (assuming it is)

comparing a before/after custom ROM update would then nail down what file (if any) is causing the issue.

I understood that :P but I really find those tools useful, except I think mine are different and come from xda. I was thinking of including a few other tools that I use, but I don't think ur average user would use it to much.

Battery use seems the same to me, but then I had already tweaked my registry to keep the card in a warm-standby state.

But it seems about the same to me.

2nd full Day

Fantastic so far... Had one lockup today while sending a picture but thats was pretty common and I had alot of programs open at the time. No noticible battery issues. Bring on Beta 2!

Have been running it since release with absolutely no issues. Great work, Mike! I can't wait for instructions on how we can customize the ROM ourselves!
