envy,
It's a documented bug in the kitchen's device lock app - so practically everyone has it whether they know it or not.

Ahhh, didnt notice it. Thank you for clearing it up to me. I am pretty new to this stuff, as I recently got my XV6700.

You're welcome Rob. I'm not a user of your rom, but if I see a quick chance to help then I try and keep things rolling. Kind of like moving the laundry from the washer to the dryer (hopefully without the shrunken blouses and sweaters).

I installed the ROM on the XV6700 and looks great so far, thanks Rob! The only problem so far is with SPB Pocket Plus 4. It causes Activesync to drop connections and introduces general instability where the device becomes unresponsive. Anyone else tried this version yet?

Palmmsgv001??

Hi,

Thank you so much for the great ROM! I had a question. On WM5 all the text messages were stored on a file called palmmsgv001 in the windows folder. That is how I always backed up my text messages when I did a hard reset or install. It seems that in WM6 the case is not the same, and I can't seem to restore my texts. Does anyone know what I can do? Also does any one know of a good program I can use that threads sms? Thanks!! Oh, I have an XV6700.

Gabor

gabor,
search for twinky's threader. It behaves exactly the same way you are used to - at least on my phone, and the file is in the same place.
For non-threaded sms, use PIMBackup - you'll find it over on XDA http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299705.

The link's in that thread were killed, but I installed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=319899 I think it's the same thing. MMS doesn't work right? I'm not able to go back and view any of the previous MMS's I got with the threaded app on the previous WM5 rom.

First of all thanks to Helmi for starting the WM6 for all our phones. Second thank you Rob for this Rom is great. The only thing I have problems with is my internet Explorer when I got to youtube it freezes making me soft reset. I don't know if there is a tweak around here I have not found it yet! If anyone knows can you please direct me to the solution to this problem.

gabor,
DotFred's post on PIM Backup had attached files, not links - they're still attached now.
You (or a moderator) will need to remove the link you posted - Mike has been specifically requested not to allow explicit links to Palm threaders on this site, and that's a rule we all follow.
I'm on Verizon and have always used arcsoft, so I never had any threaded MMS's anyway - no help.
