I've been experiencing what I will call "Bluetooth" disconnections since i started using WM6 (no matter if it was Helmi's original Rom or Verizonguy's versions). I use and love my Plantronic 655 Discovery headset. I have been testing this buy flashing between my custom Helmi WM5 1.0.4 Rom and all of Verizonguy's Rom.

It seems that Bluetooth turns it self off or timeouts on the WM6 roms. On my WM5 rom, the bluetooth never turns off, thus my headset always works. I have to use the Comm Manager to turn the bluetooth connection on and off multiple times a day and sometime I just have to softreset.

Any idea?

I'm experiencing the same type of bluetooth problems as tharris297, plus the dreaded play-for-a-couple-secs-cut-out, repeat, type of behaviour.

The other issue is the amount of CPU real estate that being used, 60-70% even after i've shut all the active processes down. Is this the HTC today screen? Doh! Hey - i could disable it and see! Me very bright.

By the way guys - this is not an exclusively male forum. It's not cool not to listen to your wife. We have ways of getting even, like making random registry changes.

Anybody else having issues with Internet Sharing? If my signal drops while I am tethered to my laptop the connection will refuse to reconnect automatically. I have to kill the Internet Sharing app and start all over. It gives me the error "The remote party has ended the connection". I never had this on Kirvin's Clean and Simple WM5 AKU 3.5... it would wait for the network and reconnect on it's own. This happens on both Helmi_c's and Verizonguys ROMs. Any ideas?

Hey Verizonguy, have you noticed any of the Bluetooth issues with WM6? I'm just trying to see if it something with my hardware (Plantronics Discovery 655) or maybe something in the OS.

A4 works great for me, don't really have any issues except....I set my camera and video mode to save to my SDHC card...and when i try to take a picture or record a video it says there is not enough memory on my empty 4GB card....and i tripled checked to make sure it wasnt recording to the Extended_ROM2. (also, full capacity displays in Settings>>memory>>storage card)

But it does work to snap a pic and save it to the main memory...then physically cut and paste to my card. I dont have a normal SD card, so not sure if its an issue with it being SDHC. Also, this is obviously not a crucial issue, but its a nice feature to have when im on the go.

cheers to verizonguy and helmi for a kickass ppc upgrade!

After reading all the recent posts, looks like the issues with WM6 and Bluetooth are just a part of OS. I am also following Helmi's efforts on the Broadcomm Bluetooth drivers. I know he's probably tied up with WM6 Rom goodies, but the spotty Bluetooth connection is just a little frustrating.

dem0d,
The camera issue has nothing to do with the rom - failure to see partitions larger than 2MB has been default behavior for this camera since the initial release. The common workaround is to load up your card so that the available (empty) space is less than 2MB, then the camera will see it and save to it.
