I installed VC1.6 via my cab and applied the fix ... had to reboot before the BT Announcements would begin. But now I am able to voice dial and confirm and i am getting announcements just as I did with WM5.

How do you have it configured? What is selected and not selected? Did you make any changes in the notifications.

I was finally able to get mine working on my WM6 sprint 6700. I used the ID Transfer 103_214 cab with MSVC 1.6 ALL WORKING cab. works like a champ.

apacho01 -- can you tell us exactly how you installed everything and in what order? And, what is the ID Transfer 103_214 cab -- can you provide a link? Thanks.

I assume he is talking about this
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=1401

Which I have installed and no luck yet for me. I suspect it is either a setting issue or another program conflict issue.

yes that is the one I was referring to bchiple. I installed the MSVC 1.6 cab and configured it with call announce. then installed the ID transfer and soft reset. Once it boots back up, you have to start the ID Transfer but after that it gives me incoming calls and appointment notifications over BT.

Ok I have been searching for this for a while. Maybe it is the msvc ALL WORKING.cab thats making this work for you guys. Im going to give it another try but i have tried the msvc from exe while tethered then apache fix2 cab from helmi wm6 bugs #5 and then IDTransfer1.03 and it didnt work before. I cant seem to find the msvc ALL WORKING cab. And yes i have used the search here and on google with all kind of boolean and no luck. -=Ok I tried again and no luck. I did get the ringtone coming through the headset but still no caller id announcement. It took me 3 months to get it working on wm5 correctly. I am on the road for 8 hrs a day and voice dialing is the only thing that makes this phone usable in the car. Any help would be appreciated.

The fix and files in this thread ----> http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=9239 finally made it work for me. been using it for about a week and I can say it has been really consistent. Anounces all incoming caller id, sms (except palm) and email.
