If you read the whole thread the fix is designed for the 6700 running wm6 which is why its in the sub forum of upgrades for the apache. I've heard people say that it works for the mogul as well but results will vary. When I first installed it seemed to slow everything down but after a couple soft resets it seems to be fine now. I also did my install with the original voice command desktop install and used IDtranfer v1.03. All is well in the work world again. Now I dont have to unholster my phone for 98% of my day.

If you are using the Sprint ppc6700 and you updated it to wm6 then yes this is for you. If you are still running wm5 then you can install voice command then install a program you can find here called IDtransfer v1.0 That should get your incoming caller ID working fine with wm5. |

voice dial with GN 6210
Here is an interesting thing:
I have GN Netcom 6210 bluetooth headset and the manual says it has two profiles - headset and hands free. When I paired it as a headset it connects to bluetooth automatically when call comes in, announces incoming calls and rings trough headset, but it won't do voice dial. When paired as hands free, it does voice dial after pressing multifunction button for 2 sec, but if won't do other things that it does when paired as headset. To answer the call in this mode I have to hold button for 2 sec. to connect and then press once more to answer call. Anyone else experienced this ? I have helmi_c WM6 release on 11/17 with MS VC 1.6 inside ROM. Last edited by ruslan; 12-31-2007 at 08:38 PM. |
