Running Helmi's build - very nice, excellent work - I can use my BT headphones again - thanks! Using the build for 3+ weeks I am having a similar problem. I can add the first new contact, but if I try an add a second it locks up. I did this the first time yesterday and the phone didn't come back for more than 10 minutes so I did a hard reset and it finally worked. Sometimes the first new contact locks it, sometimes it's the second Other things I've noticed: - I can't view the new contacts I have added in the contact list, when I start to dial they appear in the "quick list" however. - I am running radio version 1.41, great reception, but battery life is significantly reduced. - very slow return from soft reset Once again, excellent work! |

I now have the program in two locations, I believe and can see it eating more memory than if only in one.

Anyone else notice a slow memory leak at all? I'm running Helmi's original WM6 ROM and regular usage, phone, IM, email and I close all apps, I'm still low on memory...
Let me try to explain a little better, lol... After a soft restart let's say I have roughlt 25mb available program memory.... After using it for the day at work, I close all apps on it, and get ready to leave my office, with no apps open, I'm at like 14mb... where did the rest of it go?? Task Manager and the Memory applet show nothing running, I ran MemMaid, and closed open programs, compactd, etc.. no go... So... Where is that RAM going? |

Initial reaction and issues
I've just installed the wm6 build and have these issues (so far):
1) I have enabled a lock password. After a soft-reset it can take several minutes before I am allowed to enter the lock password even though the prompt is on the screen. 2) Occasionally (3 out of 5 times so far) when I put the device in the cradle activesync will not detect it. I'm not sure if these are known issues but I don't recall seeing them when I browsed this forum. TIA Last edited by lbdyck; 10-09-2007 at 03:34 PM. Reason: change notification type |

2.) I've had this happen, when activesync says it can't detect the device and to click OK to troubleshoot, click OK and then click Start Scan, about 20 seconds into that scan it will pick it up, then you can close the troubleshooter. good luck!! |
