Also, I have read through many pages of this, and the original thread, and haven't found the answer, so I will ask again, has anyone come up with a way to stop the volume control slider from working even when the phone is off or lcked? it's a pain having it come on in my pocket all the time :P Otherwise great ROM, and thanks for the updates!
Besides locking, I make sure my screen is off before putting my phone in my pocket. That keeps the volume slider inactive. There's a little app called OnLock floating around on XDA-developers.com that works nicely for this... or maybe it's on pdaphonehome... I can't recall. Do a web search.

Also when I dialed 911 it has crashed the phone.

Now I'm not complaining about this, saying wah this free thing you did doesn't work etc. But I would like to know what info I need to give so I can help these issues get resolved. I'm pretty good with this stuff I'm an IT guy, with some programming knowledge. So if there are any tests, logs or whatever I can provide to help, I'm all in.
I think all of these are known bugs, although not everyone experiences them (ie, slow typing, double text messages, etc.).

Just reporting as much info as you can about the circumstances is probably enough for now. I'm sure Helmi, et al, are checking in on these threads. Until they chime in, we just have to be patient that these bugs are being worked. When the next version or kitchen comes out, it'll be up to all of us to test any fixes that have been implemented.

My biggest problem is Resco Explorer, they've had two updates since this rom, and everytime I install an update it eats more memory.
I'd prefer just to install it myself and save some memory!

I've gotten MS VC 1.6 to work fine on wm6 with 3 moto sets. HS850, HS810, and HT820. Every thing but announcing the incomming caller over BT works. I always disabled that feature anyway because i didn't like it. But all the other features work, i can send commands over BT, it reads off mail and calendar entries over BT fine also.

Thanks for your ROM. it's stable!! i use the ROM of generic version. today i find that the IR beam do not work properly with my computer. but it can transfer the file each other with the other phone, and the other phone can also transfer the file with my computer!!
so i think it is maybe a bug of this ROM.
Thanks again for your ROM!

Iguidance 3.0.1

Thanks for all great work. I love WM6.

I am having one issue. I use Iguidance 3.0.1 and it crashes with the WM6 rom. It worked well with all the WM5 roms.

Here is what it does. After a few seconds if you touch the screen to access any menu, the program exits. This is what used to happen w/ 3.0 so I upgraded to 3.0.1. Everything was good until I upgraded to to WM6.

Any ideas?

Check out this post on xda regarding iGuidance and WM6:

Looks like you may want the v4 upgrade to resolve that problem. It also looks like iNav is giving the upgrade away for free:

I also had the same problem. Dialing 911 crashed my phone.

Fortunately, I knew the number to the police station, but its still not cool that 911 is "unavailable" with WM6.

We need a fix for this.
