My guess is that you're underground for quite some time? The phone is probably going into powersave mode because it can't find a signal.

Shouldn't it eventually come out of powersave mode on it's own?

Hey there buddy. He was right, the phone goes into power save mode because you're in the "hole" for quite some time. Once it's off, the radio's off, as well. So, it cannot detect that there is a "signal" again.

When I lived in NYC, I automatically set the phone into flight mode, then set it back once I get to my stop.

Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in on this phone code issue, since there doesnt seem to be a solid resolution (the Mogul Dialer fix didnt work for me).

1. When I install the Mogul Dialer, the buttons are all screwy. The button numbers and borders are not in the right place (i.e. the numbers arent centered inside the border) even though pressing the numbers does dial the correct number. No one else has reported this, or at least my searches for some mention of this have been fruitless.

2. Even after installing the dialer, the phone codes (*228, ##778#, etc.) still dont work correctly. *228 seems to work correctly but it doesnt display the "SPL unlocked" "PRL Download OK" etc, like it used to, but it does seem to apply the correct settings as far as i can tell.

3. To access the ## codes, use the shortcut files that luv2chill included in the 1.04 kitchen, in the OEM\Optional_PhoneCodes folder, and paste them in your Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Phone Codes folder on your device. Works flawlessly. I have even included a zip file with a cab inside that will install the shortcuts on your device for you (your welcome n00bs ). This solution was mentioned on another thread but I thought it should be posted here. Thanks to luv2chill for this solution.

this rom has been great, its like an entirely new phone. however in the past day or two i have been unable to receive MMS's. i can send them just fine. and all of my server settings in MMS Configuration are correct. however, yesterday my girlfriend tried twice to send me a picture message and neither of them ever showed up on my phone. when i hit "send/recieve" it says "error synchronizing." i'm on verizon by the way. is this perhaps just a server side error on their part or a setting somewhere that has for some reason reverted to a different setting? ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Has anyone gotten Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 to work over their BT headset in WM6 using this ROM as they were able to before in MVC 1.5 using WM5? I tried all kinds of registry changes and hacks from this thread and from here. None are working correctly. Yes I can active Voice Command from my Headset but when the "tone" goes off and the little mic shows on my phone the sound is all coming from the Speaker on the phone. I can give the commands through the headset, and it will take the call through the headset, it just won't let me hear the "lady" say "please repeat" or "Call NAME at Home?" on my headset. Grrr...any news or info or direction?

Yes, I got it MVC 1.6 to work in WM6 just like it worked in WM5. I have the Sprint PPC-6700 and the Motorolla HS850. I didn't do anything different or special to get it to work. The lady speaks in my earpiece when she confirms things.

While I have had a great time playing dopewars, the phone has been running really slow, while typing text messages it's like it can't keep up with my typing, also I'll receive double texts, it's just not one person this has happened with multiple people. Also when I dialed 911 it has crashed the phone.

Now I'm not complaining about this, saying wah this free thing you did doesn't work etc. But I would like to know what info I need to give so I can help these issues get resolved. I'm pretty good with this stuff I'm an IT guy, with some programming knowledge. So if there are any tests, logs or whatever I can provide to help, I'm all in.
