I have HTC Home plugin from Touch and Palm threaded SMS on my 6800. Everything usually works but SMS notification icon under HTC Home plugin (where it shows # of unread SMS messages) works intermittently ... when a new SMS comes in, home screen shows "# [depending on the number of unread messages]", and sometimes it never increments. Even on my S2U2, new SMS will only show up 50% of the time. Any ideas?

I can't help with this one. I don't use HTC Home or S2U2. I find HTC Home takes up too much of the today screen and S2U2 unlocks all buttons when a call comes though which defeats the purpose of locking my device. Anyone else have the same issue as vjslater?

You must be using an older version of S2U2, cuz mine actually makes me slide to answer the phone. No other button works till I Slide to Answer.

I like Palm Threaded SMS, but I also reset my device regularly. I use PIM Backup to backup my texts. For some reason when I do a restore Palm SMS imports the inbox 20 messages at a time and never imports the sent messages. Any suggestions?

Just save the PalmMsgV001 file (in \Windows) as part of your PIM Backup and include it in your restore. That bypasses the whole volume-import problem.

Does Threaded SMS Work on 6700?

All,

Have we got a working threaded SMS application, or does this still have issues?

Thanks,
Steve

Wow. Are you serious or joking? If your serious then read the 256 posts in this thread prior to your post and you will find your answer written 1001x.

Sorry about being an ass but it would have taken you less effort to read the previous posts to find out your answer.

Youre not being an ass as far as I am concerned, but yes I was being serious and yes I had read most of the posts. Where I left off was that the MMS portion still had issues. So in the interest of getting up to speed quickly I decided to post at the end so someone in the know could give a quick update on status.

Sorry if I have posted improperly but I thought it was better to get a quick update rather than going from post to post.

Thanks,
Steve

Steve,
Threaded SMS works fine, and MMS still has issues.
That said, I had two picture messages come in fine on the threader last week, right after a hard reset/reload. I actually prefer my MMS's in Arcsoft, but hadn't opened or initiated that app yet when the two messages came in. Once I opened Arcsoft and sent a test message to myself, the threader no longer hijacks incoming MMS. (FWIW).
