I'm not sure why this happens though. I saw a dropoff when I went to the 1.41 radio and then again with WM6. I do notice that this OS seems to do a lot more stuff in the background. I use a program that monitors opens and closes of programs with sounds and it's much more "chatty" with this ROM than with WM5. Dunno, but that may be part of it.

I bought an 1800ma battery from Verizon and it seems pretty nice -- where can I get this program that monitors opens and closes of programs with sounds?

Also, I have not found the place to make sure that a close gets rid of programs from memory -- most programs seem to do so, but not all, but I was curious more than anything else to verify the setting.

Thanks.

I took the plunge last week and over all I've been pleasantly surprised. The install went without a hitch. I have found an issue however. Due to the fact that you can't password protect your contacts, I have my phone lock at startup and require a password after 30 mins. Any way, If I need to do a soft reset, the password screen locks up intermittedly. (The keyboard icon on the screen does not appear and since I can't type in the password, I'm stuck). After waiting for 5-10 mins sometimes the keyboard loads-allowing me to enter the password, sometimes I need to soft reset muiltiple times before it would appear. I have thus turned off my require a password, and have not had any problems as of yet. Can't wait for the service pack to be released to address the minor glitches.

It's one feature of Wisbar Advance 3 from lakeridgesoftware.com. I'm sure there are other programs that can do this, I just don't know of any off hand. WA3 also will truly close programs for you... another nice feature.

Think you are in the wrong forum, this is for 6700 or Apache only.

Welp got WM6 on my 6700 now. Unfortunately I've had screen issues for awhile now (where it keeps going out of alignment). This rom doesn't seem to help nor hurt such (guessing it's definitely a hardware issue by looks of it now).

ROM wise wm6 seems quite sleek and works fine out of the box quite nicely.

Where does this file reside? I couldn't find it in the Windows directory...
