Re: Updated 3/23 The Apache Lives on.... WM6.5 pics

how the heck do I install this? I'm using RUU and NOID and none of them are working with the 21198 version. Only NOID works through to the upgrade page and then when I press upgrade it just closes my program window but is working in the background when I check my task manager on my PC.

CAN ANYONE HELP!?!? This phone is making pull my hair out! 1 minute for a reply will save me 5 hours of confusion.

1st you will need to do the supercid on your phone. Its outlined in my premium content thread using another carriers htc on vzw(must register) on ppchaven.com as the thread here was removed due to abuse. The other issue is win 7 more than likely. I have no issues using any apache ruu on xp but can only run noid ruu and no others on vista. Keep in mind the ruu and active sync bootloader drivers were coded for a much older OS and are only semi compatible with vista much less 7. If you had access on an xp machine it would be preferable. You should use noid ruu as thats the correct one for your device. As far as the build 21198 its really outdated as much newer is out.

Are there different versions of NoID RUU? I'm not sure if I have the correct one.

As for Windows Seven, you just need to follow the instructions for Vista and WMDC. I flashed mine several times already on Seven, you just need to look for that sticky somewhere. I don't have it off-hand, but I will try and dig it up.
I think this is it:
