ummm... ?? did anyone have any problems with the most recent update? I just attempted a build after the most recent update (selections were the same, not very many), and I am getting a build error. It says that it is too big. This can't be possible. I pretty much run a stripped down selection. I also noticed that sMMS duplicates in this build when you select it. Getting an overwrite confirmation.

I'm only advising it because it's working for me.
When I try flashing again next weekend, I might try creating a ROM without the patch just to see if it works. At least I know I can always go back to a spectacular build.
To be honest, I didn't try NOT using it after the most recent update, but I didn't see it mentioned in the list of things fixed in the 9/25 updates over the original 9/19 build.

why does the kitchen remember all the crap I did after I just totally re-installed this kitchen into my computer?

Because uninstalling doesn't delete all the settings files.
If you delete any "projects" or selections files that aren't newly reinstalled, it will "forget" all of your old settings.
The few times I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I manually went to the PPCGeeks folder and deleted everything. Of course, I wasn't smart enough to remember to NOT delete some of my custom OEMs, but... oh well. $hit happens.

So is this actually usable for most people? I thought I'd see more complaints about it being very slow on our devices. Am I wrong or what? I wonder what I'm installing differently but I can't sync with exchange, I can't get my email to work with imap, it takes 5 minutes to open a text message and HTC Home Screen doesn't refresh the time until I reboot the device.

This has all happened each of the 4 times I've reflashed.

Found an answre to my own question here appears to be a list of changes from between each build
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=421349

Anyone know the answer to the 2nd part of my question about the difference in selections for this build with the one under Groups?

Thanks, what's the difference between the initial 20748 selections file on starting BuildOS and the one under the groups sub folder? Also any way to keep my selections from Helmis build, apart form manually writing down?

I did follow what Trident adviced. My Apache is working like a champ with Kichen 20748. Many thank Trident.

Re: Apache WM6.1 Build 20748 Kitchen

I deleted registry as well as whole PPCkitchen folder and upon re-installation it still remembers all the crap oems I took out :(

EDIT: had to delete "ModuleDir=USER_OEM" from the "archive: path" in the BuildOS_config.text file... prob not a good thing to do but solved the issues of bad OEMs it remembered after I took them out...
EDIT: That wasnt a good move as it only worked temporary, so I dunno where it is being archived but it still remembers past crap :(
