well still no luck i get this issue with many roms and such where it just won't install something with this alltel phone really dislikes me no matter what i do its a pain to install it took me hours to get the old 5.0 in i don't know why it pops errors about unsuppoted device or can't retreive device data does anyone have an idea it runs 1.0 bootloader

1) if you are inernational, and you downloaded buildos.msi before 2:00pm CST, you will need to run updater before logging in or download the .msi again.

2) if you are in a secure network, you will get server not available and not be able to login. There is presently no workaround. This is primarily an issue for corporate environments.

gguruusa (or anyone else who can help) - I saw in an earlier post that you found a solution for a "BuildOS expired" message when I put in my PPCGeeks Id/Pass. Is there something I did wrong? Updater says that my installation is up-to-date.

What OS on your computer? If Vista, that's your problem - upgrade to a newer bootloader. If XP, you shouldn't have any trouble with v1.0

is this a new issue? i used vista to flash it to Helmi_APAC_Official_AKU3_5_Kitchen_1_0_4 a while back and had no issue.

if so i'll ned to format my other lappys 2ed partition back to XP

let me know.
