Maybe he means autoinstalling onto the storage card what's not in the ROM. Since I don't have CECab Manager to edit where the cab installs, I use SKTools to install most of my programs not built into the ROM to the storage card. It's not an autoinstall but it's a little better than the manual method of having to open file explorer for each program and then install.

I know port 80 (http) should be wide open for my network zone (it's only monitored, not filtered).

Still getting that error though as if I'm not reaching.

Guess I'll stick to connecting through my phone when @ work when I start BuildOS.
That is until the IT guys get off their *** and put me in the DMZ (which they agreed to do... eventually).

It's actually been a back burner project for a long time. Some foundation elements exist within buildos now, but I haven't taken the time to look into writing the ext_rom segment. Part of the issue is that the OEMs would have to be re-authored to identify components that could be installed outside of /windows.

I tried installing from a .cab file, but that didn't work.

Any help is appreciated.
You probably did not include .NET in the build

HTC Audio Manager seems to be fixed now, but HTC Streaming Media is still generating the same error as before.

I assume you are speaking of Tautoinstall. I believe it will install you cabs to the SD if you have hardcoded the path within the cab. Try this and let me know. The trick with tauto and Autorun is that it is the fastest way to install cabs. Also, if you find a problem with this, you can also try to change the config.txt for tauto. If you need to try this, find me in either of the chat rooms.

Just wanted to report that my error with the freezing must be related to ROM size, as it doesn't matter what I choose, but how many that causes the phone to freeze on initial start.

More than likely. If you need, attach your selections.txt or find me in the chat room.
