Really...ok that makes sense. We do want everyone to enjoy all of this. Should we just stick with the earlier version of Arcsoft, or are there other options out there for SMS/MMS.

Thanks,
Steve

SD Card not recognized

I have a 2GB mini SD with all my tunes on it that doesn't seem to get picked up by the new ROM. I've flashed back to old one from Colonel and it reads fine. I've tried this build with SD Card only and SD & SDHC support but I still don't see any storage card. Any ideas on what I might be missing or how to probe that slot for some info?

I volunteer to do this testing provided I could get a copy of the kitchen without the Arcsoft stuff.

You can set those values to whatever you want (including removing them) by giving your OEM a UID later than the Verizon OEM UID.

The first step would be to build a ROM with nothing additional beyond carrier and SD only drivers. Make sure nothing on the extrom runs (no carrier customization - that's guaranteed to mess up your SD driver).

Thanks for the heads up on the UID. I changed the OEM and it now installs perfectly. I now have a working Arcsoft 4.2.8.1 OEM.

On another note are there issues in setting the time on the HTC Today plugin to military time? I have a registry change in my personal OEM that sets military time, but the HTC Today plugin (2.1) continues the regular way. I actually have to go into the regional settings and manually change it in order for the Today plugin to update properly. Am I missing something?

Thanks,
Steve

I'm going to go with Yes - you're missing something.

What settings are in your personal OEM? Compare the registry before you change regional settings and after and you'll find what you're missing.

SD Support plus Carrier

tried that with the Verizon carrier and still got nothing. I made one ROM with NotifyMe and that didn't sound when the card was inserted or ejected. Seems that app would activate even with a bad card? Anyway booted back to the Verizon ROM just to make sure and the card is fine there.

No, if it's never found, it won't care about it being ejected (it watches for an SD dismount event)

What make SD card do you have? and it's a 2GB mini (not a micro with adapter)?
