I've been searching the forums and have found that weatherpanel is the culprit for battery drainage. Can any of you guys figure put what the bugs are in the wp app and hpw to update wp?

Weatherpanel is known to be problematic (which is why it's not in the PPCGeeks OEM package), unfortunately I don't believe there is any known resolution at this time.

Please open an other thread to discuss this further, and WeatherPanel is not part of the default kitchen.

Required Module not in Project

I was running the previous kitchen 071117. I have just run 071217, initially without deleting 071177, and downloaded and copied PPCGeeks_OEM.rar to c:\BuildOS. Now when I run the kitchen I get the following error:
Required Module not in Project
Module : Flash Video Bundle
Ref: blah blah

When I click ok, I then get:
BuildOS
Module not found (blah blah, HTC smartdialing)
Module not found (blah blah, Office Excel)
Module not found (blah blah, Office Powerpoint)
Module not found (blah blah, Office Word)

After clicking ok, it takes me to the kitchen, although a number of other programs are missing eg: Microsoft Voice Command, WiFiFoFum, HTC Task Manager, Phone Boost, etc...

I'm sure it's user error. I have deleted the directory and reinstalled, and also re-downloaded PPCGeeks_OEM.rar but the same results. Appreciate your thoughts on what I've done wrong.

You didn't install the OEM.rar correctly. Check your naming and install directory.

Issue solved. I had used one of the tweak programs to turn off the blinking LED light; once I turned it back on, the vibrate works fine. Go figure!

Flash isn't being detected by some websites.

ex: www.speedtest.net

Says it needs Flash version 7. Worked with Verizonguy's last standalone release (A4, prior to his kitchen, which I never messed around with).

Which flash player did you include in your ROM?
