I can't seem to get this to work either. I found other entries that said to either modify a reg setting and/or rename the directory on your SD card. I've tried both separately and together. Still can't get the album to see pix on the card.

If I rename the "My Pictures" to "_My Pictures", HTC Album doesn't see it and when I take another pic, the camera app re-creates the old dir on the card. I assume there's a setting to fix that somewhere that I haven't found.

And the instructions I found elsewhere to change the HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAlbum\default_viewer key from 0 to 1 seems to have no effect on HTC Album locating my pix on the card (including after a reboot).

Any suggestions?

Did I miss something? I'd love to get this app to work with the card. It's not that useful otherwise.

Thanks

Duh - the directions DID say to rename the My Pictures directory on BOTH the card AND the device... Once I did that, it found my pictures on my card. Actually, it finds every displayable picture on both the device and teh card and not just in the "_My Pictures"... it finds everything - including the files in the temporary internet files folder from browsing... Anyone know how to get it to not browse the whole device?

And I also need to figure out how to now keep the camera app from recreating the old "My Pictures" folder. It recreates them on both the device and the card. So after taking another picture, teh album no longer finds your pix. You have to get rid of the folders again on both the device and the card.

Messaging Issue

Morning all,

I am having a small issue with the messaging component. Every once in awhile I try to select mesaages, either SMS or email, but I cannot open the message. If I have multiple messages and try to select a different message it then highlights that message also but does not open it. The resolution to this is to soft reset. Any ideas?

I have configured direct push email, and the normal SMS messaging. I do not use MMS. I am also attaching my selections for my build.

Thanks,
Steve
