2 weird things happened..
1. i was running a few applications.. htc audio manager and verichat(from the sd card).. when i started these the prememory was 12mb.. ram left.. after these started it came down to 5 mb.. when the music was playing.. and then the touch screen stopped working.. the buttons worked fine and i was able to change songs too and the songs went on fine too.. and eventually i had to soft reset thru the quickstart menu... and then it became ok after soft reset. and the memory came to 24 mb.
2. i had mentioned before the wndows media player cannot play any song more than 10 or 20 seconds.. it just goes to the next song. whereas htc audio manager plays them just fine.. also i cant get scrolling of the touch flo to work inside the htc audio manager..
these things had never happened in any of my previous builds.. wonder whats going on..
the memory in this thing really goes down as u keep using programs and even closing them ... it came down to 12 mb from 24 in a day or so.. i wonder where the memory leak is?.. i use oxios close applications every now n then to keep it clear..and i hadnt used anything to much either.. i didnt surf much eother just some instant messenger application...

Actually, I never let the customizations run with any ROM i put on my phone. What was odd is that ever since I've been using an actual mini sd (not the micro sd with the mini sd adapter), my phone has been stable.

Before my old card lost all of my information, it would always tell me that my card was removed, even if it was still in the phone.

Copy everything over to pc using a usb card reader, format it, and copy everything back.

Other than that, maybe try a new card.

That's a change in WM6 and affects other devices as well--has something to the with codec I think. For instance, try taking a video with the camera app and then open that with WMP and tap to go full-screen. For me it does rotate correctly.

The only "fix" that I know of is to slide out your kb or change to landscape mode prior to tapping the full screen button.

Again, the mogul has this same issue so it's not a bug in this ROM.

I could have sworn one time ... right after throwing on a new cooked ROM, the first thing I did was check whether it would go full screen - and it did! It was later on it started the not-full-screen crap. I'm speculating it started after I rotated the screen the first time.

I have it on the top of my To-Check-List right after my next time in the kitchen.

Report a bug and solution:
There still shorts some frames after the first boot or hard reset, such as time zone selection, password setting, etc.

Solution:
There 2 0409.mui files are not fixed with this ROM, they are shellres.dll.0409.mui and shellresapps.dll.0409.mui. I changed them last night, the boot screen works well like WM5, the lost frames appeared.

That is just my solution.

I'm sorry but I did not understand the problem. Could you try explaining it in a different way or maybe post a screen shot or photo to help show what you are talking about in regards to the two mui files?

Thank you.

HTC Home and Task manager conflicts...

I've had major conflicts with the HTC Home plugin and the HTC task manager from the kitchen (both versions). When I boot up the system hangs when I press the task manager X. This only happens when the Home plugin is installed.

To get around this I installed HTC Home v2.1.1005.722 and the updated Home DLL that removes the ID check for it to display on the Today screen.
cab here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=v2.1.1005.722

Updated DLL here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=185

Updated version by BtT with the modified DLL included:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=191

I now use WKTask 1.1.7.0 and find it much better than HTC task manager. Now I don't have any hangups on my phone.

I'm having problems with the battery meter. Instead of a battery icon, I have bars that span the entire length of the top screen. I searched in threads and found no luck. I tried using regedit to perform change in the registry editing the show option from 0 to 1 or vice versus. Any help in removing this bar? It has made my Phone signal bar, evdo indicator/internet connection icon disappear!

Silent I think you may have loaded one of the meters from the Battery Meter section in the kitchen. You posted that you used the Apache_Helmi_WM6_Selections which by default does not have one selected. I did not see it selected in the text you uploaded but you may have uploaded the wrong build log. Anyway make sure you do not select the meters from Battery Meter section in kitchen and it will go away. I don't know if you can make it go away since it is built in the ROM. I don't use them so can't really advise.
