In SPB 4 I have noticed some strange behavior - If you click to open a link in a new Tab, it opens File Explorer. Also, you don't seem to be able to configure the IE settings like the original. And as you mentioned, the scrolling does not work anywhere but IE, and it is also no longer configurable.
Thanks for all your great work on this, and if you happen to poke at it some more, thanks for that too! |

Kitchen team bug/feature question:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...768#post123768 Seen this posted a few times, verify no BT DUN profile in the kitchen? The post above links to an cab over at xda that claims to add bt dun back in to wm6, with a minor issue on ending the session. |

Responded in the other thread, but for completeness BT DUN is very much included with this kitchen (by default even). If you unchecked Modem Link then you don't have it--because that's where it "lives". In order to do DUN with Wmodem you need to build with both Wmodem and Modem Link (but both are preselected by default).

(This is from the SPB 4.01 OEM 1.2 dated 11/15/07) I'm doing file and registry comparisons trying to find the missing link with the smart scrolling. --ajgalbraith98 |

Import it using your favorite registry editor (not all can import--but I know for a fact that dotfred task manager will. I think Resco will as well but can be picky about the format.)
Ah hell, here's a cab. Unzip, copy to device, and install. And just FYI I have never seen any objective measurement of battery savings with these reg entries--just a lot of anecdotal stuff (which is not to say there is no improvement, but until there's some hard factual evidence then take these as being experimental only). |
