Did a quick check of your rgu. One thing you might try is adding an "Enabled" DWORD value (set to 1) for an application that currently doesn't work and test it. The enabled value is required when you add a new application, so it may help trigger it to work on an OEM ROM install. Just a thought.

We might want to pull SprintTV out of the OEM packages. It is now officially DOA on the Sprint server side - unauthorized user is what you'll get on connect. Seems they finally figured out how to turn off access

BT Audio Skipping w/jabra 8010
I love this latest work. So much potential here!
One flaw I just CANNOT fix.. I was on a previous build 3.5(?) with Toggle BT and my audio sucked but it was functional. Here's my situation: HTC Apache No WiFi enabled MP3 copied to internal storage Using WMP to play the MP3 Sounds good, no skipping, the phone plays it fine Goto Bluetooth Select the Jabra 8010 Select "Set as Wireless Stereo" All audio transfers to the headset No music though Pause/Play toggle and music comes on for ~3 seconds During those 3 seconds I'd swear the music is much better than the previous build Music will cut in and out at random, like a CPU issue I've tried: - overclocking (no effect) - disabling the stereo feature in Advanced Config - increased the sampling rate in Advance Config (it was at 44k and I went to 48k) - rebuilt/reflashed the phone with and without MS voice command - unpaired, repaired, reset, and even flashed the 8010s to the latest firmware 1-40-0 - loading "Audio Gateway" thinking that might help like Toggle BT - tried using the phone first then the music - checked Jabra's site for tips - searched Google for all sorts of "skipping" "pausing" keywords that had me all over PDAPhone.com - I've searched here and found some people used a "broadcomm BT stack"? I must be spelling it wrong, where is it? - Tried to find an installable copy of Toggle BT (I have it in a RAR set when I backed up my laptop, but that's a HUGE mess..) I'm finally going to be a lamah and just post a plea for help even though I seem to be the only one on the planet with this issue!? OMG! Hahaha.. I just tried to set an MP3 as ringtone, went into the ringtone test and the whole song plays without hiccups! Looks like I need a better media player? UPDATE: And now it stopped working flawlessly.. It chunks out and skips when I set an MP3 ringtone and preview it. I'm gonna toss it back in the kitchen again.

MortPlayer looks great.. Too bad it doesn't play to the headset at all for me??!
I transfer the audio to the headset and MortPlayer is the only app still playing on the PPC speaker!!?! I went throught he MortPlayer setup and I can't see any options that would make it ignore the headset and play on the internal PPC speaker.. Too wierd! My last build in the kitchen included the HTC Audio Manager but that doesn't look like a music player, the "Player" option in the menu is grey'd out? |
