Not sure if this is a bug or a quick fix via the registry. I use my Sprint PPC 6700 for DUN with my Nokia 770 internet tablet. Since this upgrade the 770 no longer sees the PPC as a phone. It previously saw it as a Sprint 6700, and would easily dial in for internet. Now, it will not use the DUN via bluetooth. Any suggestions??

The correct answer was "where my wife should get her butt back to, whilst discontinuing her nagging"

Intermittent Text Message Notification

First time cooking a new ROM and everything went smoothly. I've been running all day without a reset. The battery seems to be burning down faster than it used to, but that could also be from the Radio upgrade from 1.10 to 1.43. Many thanks to all of you who worked on the new ROM, BuildOS, Radio updater, and those who have shared your experiences and tips.=D>

When I get a text message and I'm at my Today screen, the bubble pops up allowing me to view or menu it. However, after the bubble goes away the left soft button says "Calendar" again with "Notification" flashing in it's place too fast to read about once per second. In the AKU 3.5 I was running previously, the left soft button would stay "Notification," allowing me to bring the bubble back up. Has anyone else experienced this? Most of the install is pretty standard, although I did not load Arcsoft MMS, since I don't need it. It does not happen when I get a new Outlook email.

save your selections in buildos and post the selections text file so we can see what you're building.

I don't think this is an issue with the ROM, but rather with QuickMenu... See below.

I saw this with QuickMenu installed, and with its battery meter turned on. With the QuickMenu battery meter on, and the phone plugged in, QuickMenu tries to flash the battery meter to show it's charging. Apparently it does this using the notification icon at the top of the screen. When you also have another pending notification like for an appointment or SMS message, it alternates back and forth with every flash of the battery icon.

The easiest fix is to turn off the QuickMenu battery meter and optionally use another battery meter, but you could turn off or uninstall QuickMenu altogether. (Personally I'd go for the first solution, since I really like QuickMenu.)

Answer myself: i cooked a new rom without htc today, and i'ts resolved this issue

Another bug: this time with verizon radio 1.43, drains quickly the battery, and the calls are sluggish (signal issue), answer: downgrade to all-carriers 1.41 and resolved both!

I have cooked about 10 times overall. Just to play see how things work, yada yada. But. I can't get my phone to vibrate on an alarm. The box is checked to do so. The sound file plays, the screen lights up....just no vibrate. I've been late for work once now already. Hmm.
My other....I can't remember how it used to work, but. When I am on a phone call, the indicator goes from EV to 1X and then back to EV once the call is terminated.. Is that how it's supposed to work? I searched on that subject for awhile to no avail.
Ok...one more. When I am in a low service area within the normal calling area, sometime the roam indicator comes on. Odd I say.....

Thanks for listening....any help is appreciated.

Both of these are normal, EVDO is a data only protocol so when you get, or initiate a call it will show 1X. and if yor phone is set to roam automatically... it will...when it determines your signal is low and an "Other" carrier is available. I once lived in a house that would roam in my house but when i walked outside i would go back into my home carrier...I had free roaming so i didnt care, but yeah if you don't like it turn off auto roaming (phone setting)
