I hope this helps you out.

I'll give that a try in the AM. Thanks.. I was plugged into the 2 side USB slots. Didn't even think of that one...

Exclamation

The BuildOS application runs great for me... this is actually the first time I've tried to use a kitchen and I find myself impressed and slightly overwhelmed. Anyway, I made all my selections, compiled my ROM and loaded it onto my phone as so far it's been working great (for all of 20 minutes ). My problem seems to be that I can't save my configuration.... when I try, I get the attached error (using either save or save as provides an error).

I just downloaded the 071108_1 update to both the Kitchen and the PPCGeeks_OEM and I can save my config now...

Stardestroyer,
Try using save as and give it another name. I think the problem may be that you are saving as Apache_Helmi...etc which is the standard build of Helmi's(just a sample build) I save mine as 110707_1 Which is date plus build number for that day. If I make 2 builds and want to save the second I name it 110707_2. Hope this helps but I may be totally wrong with my answer.

I believe that the calculator skins "Tensor Blue" and "Tech" are reversed, as the Blue one is gray and very "tech-y".

Thanks, actually they're not reversed--the error is that the "Tensor" skin shouldn't have the word blue in it--not sure how that got into the name. It should just be "Tensor".

It will be corrected for the future--but for reference here is the page listing all the SPB Calc skins:

I do not have a Patches folder in the root of BuildOS. Is it okay to create it or did I get an older copy?

Thanks for that info though. Nice planning.

Nah if you don't have the patches folder you should download the latest version of the kitchen from helmi's post at the top of this forum. The latest version has the patch folder and a newer build of the app that honors files placed there.
