The reason I am updating the software from his first build is that I purchased a Bluetooth GPS and the Phone would not connect to it.

PPCGeeks_OEM.rar goes in c:\buildos, not c:\buildos\Apache_Helmi_WM6.

No, you don't have to select any of the Bluetooth items to make your headset work - that level of functionality is part of the core WM6 installation. You might want to install voicecmd, however. The carrier error is because you did not select a carrier in the carrier dropdown on the toolbar before building (the build process is easier if you do, not fatal if you don't).

Hey folks...

Could we get a feel for what people are seeing for free memory with WM6?

If possible, post three things
1) Page Pool (or "default" if you don't know/didn't change it - I think that's 8MB?)
2) Free memory after soft reset
3) Free memory with all apps closed, after a day of use

I'm running the original WM6 kitchen, so I am due for a reflash, but my numbers are:
1) default
2) 23.45 (just S2UL running - TFlo/Cube not)
3) 18.66mb (with FTouchFlo/Cube/S2UL running - not apps but they take some ram)

For me, memory is pretty stable once the beast has been running for a day or so, between 17-19mb free with TFlo/Cube/S2UL, maybe 1MB more without.

im running windows XP and im still getting the connection error. i have bootloader 2.02 installed. i was able to load a rom yesterday, then it froze in bl managed to save it re isnatlled the b7 version and now everytime i try to upgrade i just get connection error, and that this version is not for my phone. looking at the RUU log this is what i get

I find memory stable as well.

here s mine..
post flash 24.. takes it upto 25 after oxios
i keep using oxios when i see it drop.. usually frees about 1-2 megs depending on the application iv been using..
goes down to around 20-21 after a day or so..
running..
voice command..
scroll fix for ie.
touchflo... no cube..
but it does go down quick if we keep using things.. like google map .. or ie.. or sum instant messagng application.. like verisign... or messenger or sumthing...

I'd be happy to cooperate, but I don't know how to find all of those numbers for you... particularly the PagePool.
I've got MemMaid and I see a lot of options, but not that one.

This won't be particularly useful without knowing what each user has installed.
