No, he is just saying it doesn't make the phone better, but it makes the PDA functionality better. So if you use it soley for a phone don't bother. If you use the PDA functions it is the shiznit.

Hi All,
My Boot loader says 2.04, so I was just wondering what RUU should I setup in the Kitchen? - Standard or x.04+? Also I know that somewhere in this post there was a limit that we shouldn't pass in Mb, for the Kitchen that I cooked, the nk.nbf is 64Mb, is this too big? Thanks, in advance,

Now are there any Bell Mobility (Canadian Bell) that have implemented the WM6 kitchen on their PPC-6700 and what was your experience with upgrading to WM6? I'm a bit of chicken and don't want to brick my phone so I'd like to know that another BM client has used the latest Kitchen / PPCGeeks_OEM.rar and was successful. I've also heard that you can go backward to AKU 3.3.1, if it fails, but I'm wondering how that works when the docs says that once you've upgraded you can't go back? Thanks, in advance for the help and experiences. |

ROM files for the Apache are fixed size - they're always 64MB, regardless of how much or how little you try to pack in them.

You can always go back to the last stock OS for your carrier. The problem is reverting bootloaders. It's possible to revert bootloaders too, but it's more challenging. For you, however, there's no need to revert bootloader as your carrier supplies the most recent bootloader in their stock ROM.

White Screen
Hey All.. I am sorry if this has been answered, but I have been looking everywhere and cannot seem to find a solution. I just received a replacement xv6700 with bootloader 2.05. I created a Rom using the Build/OS utility and flashed it with X.04+. The flash said completed successfully however when i soft reset or hard reset the phone, I can see the initial Boot splash screen. After that, all i see is a white screen. I can hear it load but i am unable to see anything but a white screen. Can anyone please help?
Thanks |

You'll need to take out just a little bit more from your ROM. Even though it flashed, white screen means too full. 2.05 doesn't let you fit quite as much as previous bootloaders.
