Uh, not quite ready to flash a rom, but can anyone verify yes or no...

OK to backup pim.vol file from WM5 and then restore it post flash to WM6? Or do we have to go via activesync to backup/restore pim data?

Why not use the new 18533-core do it?I would try to make 1933's XIP part, but not results,so use your XIP first. At the same time hope not to add password in RAR file, causing other languages such convenience, again thank Helmi_c

Awesome - thanks much!

One question - on Verizonguys rom when you hit the send button to go into the phone pushing down on the d-pad pulled up the speed dial and up pulled up the recent calls list. But only in that. Anyone know how to set that up?

schettj - no, they are different versions (as far as I've heard) use activesync, you'll have fewer problems.

Just a few quick notes on some of the old registry speed tweaks after flashing this kitchen..

HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS\CacheSize=0
--> should this be 4096 (or 8192)?

HKLM\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\limit=16384
--> should this be 32768?

Has anyone gotten Build OS to run on Vista Yet? I keep getting the following error:
An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)

Thanks - was wondering, the pim.vol format was stable for WM5 AKU 3.x - all versions. Will do the full activesync backup then. Sigh.
