IE and Full Youtube

Verizonguy: Thanks for the quick response. I have already read and followed all the info in the xda-developers link you sent. I've got the correct flashbundle and TCPMP versions. The problem is not the streaming, it's in the browser trying to load the main Youtube page. It just locks up the whole PPC.

The video sites App works great for all options on google video and the skweezer and mobile versions of Youtube. It's the full version of the Youtube page that gives problems. It did work with one of the previous kitchen versions, 0.1 I think.

It's definitely not a deal breaker because the Kitchen is awesome but it seems like something is not right. IMHO.

I'm running custom ROM Kitchen 6c, Radio 1.43, Extended ROM 2.11.711 WWE

For those of you with an extened rom problem (ie not showing up). There is a simple fix. extract the ext_rom (ms_.nbf) from any offical image flash only that, restart. You ext_rom will now show up. You can now delete all file in there. This does not require a hard reset. NOTE: Make sure to copy this file to whatever flashing app you normally use, do not use the one that it comes with, as this may upgrade your bootloader much to your dismay.

Actually its the truncation I was interested in...
"Truncated welcome sequence on first boot to touch calibration only"
...I've been able to set the timezone, but still had to go through clicking OK on the setting screen. Were you able to eliminate: the PW prompt, stylus help, or other initial startup prompts?

Just a quick heads up for everyone, I'm sure some probably already know this, but ....

Ever since flashing to the .4 (and now .6c) kitchen I've noticed my reminders firing off several times after the initial announcement. I had hoped .6 would fix it but it didn't, so I just researched it and found out that if you go to 'Settings, Personal, Sounds and Notifications' then the Notifications tab and select 'Event: Reminders' you can turn off the "Repeat" checkbox.

WM6 file Explorer by Dutty on the kitchen

Question: when will the new file explorer for WM6 will be imbeded in to the kitchen rom?

look for the cab file below. (simply remove the ".zip" extension and you have the full cab file ready to install).

It works just find if you install it regularly, and it replaces the old file explorer.

I got this cab from XDA-Developers

hope to see this change soon!

Just a thought, now that we're moving past the .6c kitchen and have over 400 posts to this thread, do you think it's time to start a new thread for the next vz kitchen?

It will tell you at the bottom of the screen when in bootloader mode.
You get into bootloader mode by holding th power button and the record button and pressing the softreset switch with your sytlus.

To get out of bootloader press the softreset switch again.
