To accomplish what? set the time zone? simply click on the clock on the today screen and change your time zone, or go to Settings->Clock & Alarms

Attempt the following at your own risk, as with anything else...
download this:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/uploads/mtty.exe
put your phone in bootloader mode.
on your pc, right click on the active sync icon, and under connection settings, uncheck "allow usb connections"
connect your phone via usb to your computer
start mtty
hit enter, you should see
usb>
type the following:
info 3
//then post the results here.
//now to exit cleanly, type the following:
set 14 0
// after that is done, type the following:
task 8
// this will exit bootloader and restart your phone.

For those reading this thread, do not mess around with mtty. It is a method of communicating with your device's bootloader and you can permanently make your phone unbootable with it if you're not careful.

Talking First Timer

I finally did my first ROM. I added new arcsoft OEM and I haven't had a chance to test it. I wanted to add palm threading but don't have OEM for that so I will install with CAB and test. I was unable to update may phone with *22899 so I installed touchclone dialer via cab and was able to update. For some reason everytime I install a cab or update and it says I must restart my phone it hangs at Windows Mobile screen (I guess this is called flash screen). If I reset with stylus from splash screen it starts fine after that. I will test more tommorrow night. Thanks for the kitchen and the great work you guys do! So easy a newbie can do it.=D>

HTCSµëm9ßY·C§YêWìöúŠ[ÜyÄY÷ œšÂ¡q#ÍHTCE
is what i get when i do that with mtty any ideas? i also patched my nvm_htc SuperCID replacing the CID (11111111) so now i can load using the normal updater instead of noidruu
