I used beta3 and once snowbreeze is done I get an error right before dfu mode. i put my phone in dfu manually then run update with shift key and made file but it runs and itunes says it can't update error1600

any ideas?

Had to do it on an XP machine but it currently is/wasn't worth the trouble. Just wait for untethered release.

sorry biggz, you have to use iREB, maybe I didn't put that in the OP, I will fix it.


edit: edited OP. Try it again. Before I found out about iREB I would get really frustrated trying to flash custom IPSW files.

With this jailbreak comes things that don't work or freeze up. It is a beta so I understand but it's buggy.

The untethered should be out soon you can try that one too.
