Re: What is a good brand for a bluetooth?

The biggest thing I didnt like about the jawbone 2 was the sharp edges it had on the back of the earpiece. Where the plastic curves around to the back there is two sharp corners, and they dig into my ear.
I read the review of the Plantronics 975, and now I am thinking I want that one.. LOL. It looks quite comfortable.

it is if you choose the right gel piece that goes in your ear. the call quality is amazing, but you have to get used to a couple things, one is you have to hold the side button for about 2-3 seconds to launch voice command. but if you hold it 4 seconds, it turns off. once you get used to that, you're cooking with oil!

Re: What is a good brand for a bluetooth?

Dr. 8820,
Thanks for the tip. I rarely use voice command, as most voice command apps have trouble recognizing my southern accent
Is it easy to grab up and stick in your eat when the phone rings? Most of the time, I keep my headset in my trucks dash pocket, and when I get a call, I stick it in my ear quickly and take the call. The jabra ear gels for the jawbone were comfortable, but they made it hard to quickly stick the headset in your ear.

yes, it's really easy to answer calls but you hold the button for about 2 seconds to do it. i'm used to my moto 710 where you just had to tap the button, but the 975 isn't bad, just takes getting used to!

Re: What is a good brand for a bluetooth?

I love Plantronics. I had the (1x) 945 Discover, (2x) 955 Discovery, (1x) 925 Discovery - all of which I lost. But I loved them. Great products, felt good in the ear, minimal, stylish, high quality. I'm planning on getting the new 975 Discovery. Looks awesome!

Re: What is a good brand for a bluetooth?

I like it. Its a combination of the ear hook and a gel that goes into your ear. Its a bit bulky, but that's because it gives you about 6 hours of talk time. My only other complaint is that it comes with a pinhole charger, so you can't use a micro or mini USB like we do with our phones.

Other than that, its pretty comfortable, loud, and the callers have all said I sounded clear.

Look up motorola s9, great for listening to stereo music from your phone as well as talking. I love man had them for almost 2 years. I'm sure theyve updated them someway or another.

Kind of, but not that big. Its just not a miniUSB or microUSB, its a proprietary plug.

I just used a review model, I haven't bought one yet.
