Re: What is a good brand for a bluetooth?

The correct answer is "it depends". It depends on what you want and what you're willing to pay. Just about every laptop on the market has wifi, a descent hard drive, and a good amount of memory. Bluetooth and webcam are the only ones that are a bit harder to find. But still, there are tons of options. Do you want to game on it? Get an Alienware. Affordable laptop? Perhaps a Dell or an HP. I personally wouldn't recommend a Mac. They're overpriced.

Re: What is a good brand for a bluetooth?

I have the Jawbone 2 and I hate it. Its uncomfortbale, and the sound quality is very tinny. Its also hard to get the volume just right... its either to loud or to soft. I have even tried using the jabra ear gels on it, but it still isnt comfortable.
I have been eyeing the new Plantronics units though.

Re: What is a good brand for a bluetooth?

The PPCGeeks News has reviewed a couple that we really like. We've done different brands and different styles.

The biggest difference is the styles.

Terry recently reviewed the Jawbone Prime: http://www.ppcgeeks.com/2009/11/30/j...eadset-review/

He also did the Plantronics 975: http://www.ppcgeeks.com/2009/11/16/r...discovery-975/

I tend to like the ear hook and long battery life, so I did the Voyager PRO: http://www.ppcgeeks.com/2009/11/10/p...s-voyager-pro/

All of those are great headsets with different styles. I believe they're all considered higher-end headsets.

CNet had a ranking of the top 10 headsets according to them, and I believe all 3 of those were on there.
