Oh. almost forgot that they mentioned that having the SERO 500 plan was causing my phone to stay in 1x and that the myphone app was what was causing all the issues. I told them that was funny because my wife's diamond worked really well and stayed in EV while still on SERO 500

I've dealt with rude reps before. The key is to not stoop to their level and remain calm and polite. I'm guessing that if you were kicked out of the store, this was not the case. It's all about attitude and sometimes persistence. 9 times out of 10 that I go into a Sprint store, it is a very positive experience and I get what I am looking for. I understand that standing up for yourself is important, but at the same time when you are trying to get something out of somebody (a TP2 for a Diamond for instance) you just have to play the game. Anyhow, sorry about your terrible experience, maybe next time you'll try to remain a little more calm...

I think you escalated the issue by threatening to get personal and "defending" yourself from his aggressiveness. Not saying you're in the wrong, but that's not how to mitigate conflict.
That being said, you're right, he was trying to screw you over, 3 weeks to get a refurb? No chance, you get them next day!

Got my brand new refurb yesterday and so far its good. Checked the usage(##778#) and it said 52 hours+ but hey it's working. |

mbritt80, I am sorry to hear about your trouble. I am a sprint service and repair manager, and I understand where your coming from. Before our store became a service center I had to go to a different store for service. Needless to say there are two types of sprint stores: indirect and coperate. Try to find an indirect service center, we are generally nicer and don't have the crappy atitude that the cooperate stores do.
Onto your touchpro. There is a program within sprint to get you a different device then the touch pro because we've been facing so many issues with the device. Ask the S&R rep about the WEL changes for the touch pro. And if they don't know what your talking about you IM me and i'll send you the documnet. Basically you have the option of replacing your htc touch pro for one of following: Palm Treo Pro, BB Curve, HTC Snap, BB Tour, or a HTC Touch Pro 2. Although I have not been able to order a HTC Touch Pro 2 yet for a customer because it is still too new of a device. I hope I helped you out. I hate how coperate runs their stores, I wish I could have all their stores closed down lol. If you need anything email me or IM me.
