Re: Google Voice Incoming/Outgoing Options!
When I first purchased Magicall, I had contact with Song via multiple emails about an issue I was having.
We troubleshot it for a few days with debug files, etc. Song had me add a registry which was > DontFilter2ndCall. You are probably aware of that registry. Song gives excellent support of Magicall. A Huge Plus in my book.

Re: Google Voice Incoming/Outgoing Options!
Just thought I would share a little tip that I found with all of you guys here since everyone is so helpful. I am on Sprint, and a lot of my family is as well. Instead of having my GV number show up for them I just wanted to keep it all Sprint to Sprint so that none of them need to worry about minutes. Instead of adding a lot of different rules into the mix I went the easy way and made sure all of my contacts were in the "Sprint" category (When you edit your contacts you can pick a category ie.. business, personal and so forth. I created one that I called "Sprint" for obvious reasons.) Then I simply made a rule that was based on category instead of phone number. Keeps things nice and efficient.

google voice is a great feature to have on any device! But note to self and everyone who reads this please do not setup the account to forward all txts from the number to ur phone and then go to work inside a building that has no cell phone service(the pentagon) and sit and chat on google voice via the web client gui the whole work day without disabling the txt forwarding to ur moblie device!!
i say that because i didnt do it and when i left the building for the day my phone was hit with 217 txt mesages and 5 mms that people had sent to my real cell number(google voice doesnt do mms) i took 10mins for all of them to come though and another 15 for them to file in correct order and if i remember correct used all of my memory!! my touch pro was moving slower than a 6700 with visualgpsce and google maps running!! then i had to delete everything!! i say all this to say dont do this to ur self!!

I think the "Pick Any 3 Numbers" is available as an option that you can still add to your account for $5/month. I think some people have had it added to their account for free. I already had the Pick 3 option on my account. After you have this feature on your account, just ask the Sprint Rep to add the 3 Numbers that you want, cellular or landline. You get unlimited calling to the 3 Numbers you choose, incoming and outgoing. You don't have to tell them its a Google number, landline number or cellular number. Just give them the 10 digit numbers, after you have the feature added to your account, if you choose to do so. Last edited by Biker1; 08-27-2009 at 06:24 PM. Reason: content addition |

In the end, it is well worth the effort to have that feature added to your account. Did you get it for free or $5/month? |

Re: Google Voice Incoming/Outgoing Options!
you're not on the everything plan? I only ask because with a diamond, and using all its data hungry applications, I would think you would be on the everything plan. If you are, then you unlimited anyway and you don't need 3 free.
I'm still trying to figure out a use for my google number. |
