Re: Windows is not dead!
This is quite the discussion, but I think Windows Phone is dead... I probably will keep my TP2 for a long while and maybe buy a couple extra on eBay for a reserve.
I have been following closely Windows Phone 7 development on Paul Thurrotts's Pages: http://www.winsupersite.com/mobile/wp7.asp Basically, from what I can see is this phone requires you to use Windows Live and sync Outlook and contacts through the cloud. This is a nonstarter for me... again music and podcasts seem to be poorly synced like Android. Again Microsoft is taking an arrogant position and is going to eat it. Their 5% market share will decline. I guess eventually I will have to get an iPhone if they stop supporting activesync in Windows 8 (desktop) and beyond.
