Hmmm... Must've been a careless omission in this "port" as you call it. Is it normally under the programs listing, or is it buried somewhere too? ☺

I know. That's how I got the DVR program I was talking about earlier. I've seen the Windows Mobile "Marketplace", and they charge for free stuff in there, so I figured I'll stick to the freeware sites. If you ask me, that WinMo "Marketplace" was just a sad excuse to get some last few dollars out of the Operating System before they abandon it. Shame on M$.

On the Diamond/TP version, the top button (power key) takes you back to the main menu Android, the home button is your menu key (hold this down for five seconds to activate or stow away the on screen keyboard), and the "Call End" key is the button that turns the device off (although it does not turn it back on again , you need to hit the top key for that).

Yeah. If someone developed a plugin that you could scroll like you could on "PointUI". See this video at about 6:53 into the video:

There is a scroll bar..maybe not all apps are utilizing it yet but look:

Ok, so clicking back usually get rid of the keyboard...

Most apps that have extensive scrolling like astro file manager and contacts do utilize it

I'm probably going to harp on this like a broken record but If we abandon the QWERTY board and stylus it will surly die!

I've found that I like this setup better: Pressing back does a surprisingly good job of going "back" to the previous screen.

Yes it does but if you have a virtual keyboard out it hides it...

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; MSM Build/MASTER) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

IMHO windows devices have been plagued with weak hardware while android, a newer operating system has been able to take advantage of better hardware.

What kind of pathetic excuse for a default onscreen keyboard is that thing (I've used an HTC customized Android device, and that makes it a bit more usable though to be honest)? What Mobile OS doesn't let you "stow away" your onscreen keyboard without holding down the home button for a half hour? What OS offers nothing but Toilet Paper scrolling?

What OS renders SuperCam (SuperDVR Mobile application) correctly?

WinMo - 5
Android - 1

Sorry, just an "IMO". I do use android for using SuperCam if I want it rendered correctly on the VGA Display.

Just my "Two or three cents".

How can you base your review of android when it is installed on a phone that is made to run windows mobile? Your comment is baseless and irrelevant.
Also, to install apps on android it is not necessary to have a a google account. You can install apps by downloading the apk file which you can get from many different sites. Plus, how is having a google account a bad thing? last time I checked android and google were one of the fastest growing companies. That usually means that people like it not that its bad.
What are you talking about when you say this "What Mobile OS doesn't let you "stow away" your onscreen keyboard without holding down the home button for a half hour? The keyboard can be stowed away instantly by using the back button or on some keyboards by swiping down.
Please do a little more research before trying to put down any os.
I won't say anything bad about wp7 because I haven't tried it yet but windows mobile I can.
If you want to continue using windows mobile over android then go ahead. I myself switched to android cause I got tired of rebooting my phone over 7 times in a 30 minute period and having my phone freeze hundreds of times. But if you like that type of experience then good for you.
