yes..but usually for a phone like the iphone..most that bought it early are the devoted..later comes more people who are less enthusiasts but just happen to like the phone..thus % wise return rates would increase..

to me, a pocket pc is an extension of your pc. I can do pretty much everything on my phones that I can do on my home pc. if a device can't do that, it's not a pocket pc, at least not to me. |

Trust me dude, don't kid yourself. It'll sell and sell well, its just a great phone. Even consumer reports listed it as the best phone they ever had and only faulted it for the antenna issue that wasn't even a big deal to start with. Now that you get a free case of your choosing, people will only jump more on the iphone4 since they'll save an extra 30 bucks.

Oh here is another kicker with the TP1/TP2, I hardly used it personally, it seems like all I was doing was loading new ROMS by Mighty or EnRG or Silence. Sometimes I would load 3 ROMS in a day just to see which is better. Thats all I seemed to do with it was load new ROMS on that phone. With the iphone, I can now actually use my phone for other things for once. My new iphone loads web pages as fast as a laptop. Seriously, I'm even considering selling my laptop now and just use my desktop pc or my htpc in the living room for downloading. Last edited by NIKKG; 07-16-2010 at 02:18 PM. |

well, back on topic...
for now... apple press conference is well over, but if anyone missed it, or just followed a live blog like i did, here is some of it in video on cnn, for now. http://www.cnn.com/video/?on.cnn=1&l...=true&stream=1 you know, ive never heard jobs voice. not sure why, but it doesnt sound like i expected. he grasps for words a lot too. i thought he would sound more streamlined.

consumer reports did not list it as the best phone..they just gave it the highest rating...but if you look how tht rating was achieved you would understand..here is one of my favorite quotes: "Then there is the man who drowned crossing a stream with an average depth of six inches." ~W.I.E. Gates Also I am not doubting its selling rate...I am saying the return rate is nto sufficient data based on the first 30 days it came out... As for selling rate I do expect it to drop.. just fro the logical perspective of AT&T doing the 6 month in advanced thing... |
