Re: No Nexus to VZW!!!
Vodaphone is GSM. Verizon is CDMA. The Verizon version of the N1 wouldn't work for the Vodaphone network.

I've also read that they refused to offer a CDMA version to Verizon because verizon wanted to lock it down, and that goes against Google's "open source" model. Either way, hopefully it will be offered, but passing FCC doesn't mean it will be offered, as clearly is the case with Verizon. Again, hope I'm wrong on all fronts. |

Re: No Nexus to VZW!!!
With roms they are basically the same phone, the difference is the camera which the incredible is better and where the n1 wins is with world phone capabilities. When I'm in Europe for 3 weeks this summer I get to keep my same phone. If the incredible doesn't have that, that's a big downside for some. Those are the only main differences.

Re: No Nexus to VZW!!!
As an android user I'm just glad vzw is getting a high end android. Pretty soon all this fragmentation will be put to an end with froyo then you guys don't understand the upgraded apps we're about to have once froyo, the incredible, and the evo launch, ohhhh I can't wait. Developers are about to get cracking especially since android released the sdk months ago for froyo.

Re: No Nexus to VZW!!!
I'm an android fan, Droid to also as long as it meets froyos standards, which I'm sure it does. I just want the updated apps and more apps. Droid is old now, I mentioned new stuff which will bring new and more customers, then they will want to create more apps. Honestly I'm glad Droid is here because that brought hella users to android and it is a high end android.
