Looks like you did it. Read the 'read me' from cmonex...it spells out everything and tells you how to check (which buttons to push) to make sure the unlocker worked.

Now just flash the rom and be ready to wait a long time for the phone to reboot after your restart it.

After you flash the rom go ahead an do a hard reset...
push reset button with stylus and immediately hit red button. Then up arrow.

you're very right it did work. the reason i thought it didnt work is because each time i ran his program, it would again show SPL.32..so that confused me.

plus i tried his steps and the phone would just reboot.

there is 1 key part to his steps to show the SPL screen that i think needs clarification - pressing and LETTING go of the reset button.

to enter bootloader mode to see version: with the device turned on, press and hold the Camera button along with the Power button, then press (and Release) the reset button with the stylus tip, then release the Camera and Power buttons when bootloader tricolour screen appears.

but yea i tried that.. and now it shows .36 cmonex..

Because 1.53 does not fix the .net framework errors you get as it was intended to do. Also, 1.53 does not show the clock/date when its in standby mode, it just slows a floating black box on the screen. Thats why people such as myself stick with 1.52....some people like 1.0 because its much faster then the other releases.

Still lovin this thing, still loading all my apps.
But a real problem, IE keeps hanging on me. Is anyone else having this problem?

First I thought maybe it didn't like google for whatever reason, since that's mostly what I use on my mobile.
But I went to Opera's website to download their mobile version and it hung on that site too.

I've given it about 5 minutes or more for it so start responding in one instance but it was still dead. So I end up just have to do a soft reset.
After 2 hard resets it's still happening.


And no sweat about that clock in standby I mean it's more of a would be nice.
I applied my reg hack to get the date to appear in the title bar so that works.

i wish you had written that an hour and half ago, before i flashed this..ya the black box is annoying. i guess illtry 1.52..but now you got me thinking about 1.0hmm

Other than .net and speed is their anything significant I'd notice if I went back from 1.53 to 1.0?

yea there is 1.0 sux.
the icons look terrible.. ,like contacts and set. are both black. and the startmenu is at the bottom.

I guess that's why it was faster, less rendering LOL

If you use IE the palm dpad will cause IE to lock up. If you press up on the dpad it will lock up every time. Also MS voice command can cause crashes as well.

I have been using Skyfire reliably. You can use bluetooth talk but if I try commands more often than not I get a crash. The good thing about 1.52 as opposed to 1.0 is that Internet Sharing works.

Are you sure you didn't flash 6.5.1 rather than 6.5 version 1.0? 6.5.1 has the start menu at the bottom. 6.5 version 1.0 has the start menu at the top.
