Hi, I don't have a Treo Pro, but am looking at getting one. The i780 has a 320x320 screen and looks great running 6.5.1 at 128dpi and 96dpi. The 128 dpi is very usable they say and with a theme they cooked up (attached and should work on the treo) it makes the big buttons work well on the smaller screen. The author says he will release his kitchen, so hopefully the tweaks and advances they make can be borrowed onto the treo pro. Check it all out at

You totally misunderstood my message, not that it was all that clear. I was not knocking your work, I think it is awesome that you are capable of doing this, and I really do know how much work it can be. I was just pointing out a few things that don't work so that when others see the same things, they won't think it is just them. I can usually work around most issues.

The other point I was making is just that I don't know what the changes are with 6.5. I know the start page is different, but I can't see much else. I'm figuring I'm missing something, so I asked.

I sincerely apologize for coming across as ungrateful, must have been the bad day I was having last week. I'm an IT guy and fix broken stuff all day long and work with complaining customers. I definitely don't want to be one of them. Sorry.

Exactly, Don't get your panties in a bunch because someone tells the forum that the ROM isn't 100% up to par. You could have worked years on something, but it still contains major bugs. This gives others an opportunity to judge whether or not they want to try this ROM. Don't get offended at seemingly 'negative' review of your ROM. It is for the greater good of OUR phones and hardware.

Im a noob, and this is the first time I will be flashing my Plam Treo pro, I never had a cdma phone before.
This is my compnay phone and I want to know if I will run the flash, do I need any information to connect the phone back to network? Any access code or anything?
Also I'm not sure if my phone is unlocked, how can I check that and where do I find the unlock files, I been looking but I'm unable to find.
Please help

You may want to think twice about flashing a company phone... However if you so choose, since it is CDMA, it will/should auto-detect your settings for you... If it's 'unlocked', It will work for other providers --- this isn't pertaining to 'unlocking' your phone... This just allows you to copy over unsigned ROM's...

In my experience, I just flashed the phone, and it connected to my provider's network right away -- I didn't have to manually configure anything.

I ran the updater couple of times and everytime I'm getting the error 262, i did the soft reset and unplug the USB cable but so far no luck.
Any idea why it is not upgrading?

Just to let you know the bar doesn't progress, it always stays at 0% and then give me Error 262.

I see many people from the community helped you out to create this rom.
I also notice you are not going to be updating it anymore as you are changing phone.

My question is: How come you do no release your kitchen to the community so other can continue the work?

I am sure that they will mention you as you did the others.

I have already pretty much released my kitchen, I released my OEMS and tips in another thread. I used the Visual Kitchen available on XDA. It is not practical for me to upload my kitchen as it is about 7 gigs in size because it includes files for a lot devices I have worked on. I will also not release an unlocked rom because I have personally had my work stolen from me and rebranded by other "Chefs" before it is not a cool thing to do.
