My experience is different. The only things I lost between the two versions was AT Contacts and Pocket Express.

And in 1.52 internet sharing works.

So a good trade I think.

I used skyfire with real vga and 6.5. It works just fine.

I installed the final 6.5 from this thread, I tried installing dashwire and it installs fine but errors when trying to load.... I've redownloaded the cab from there website still no luck I know it worked before with the first 6.5 but not this final version. Anybody else experience this?

Anyone able to use the included Sprite backup? Everytime I attempt to either 'Backup' or 'Restore' the following error occurs: An unexpected error occurred. If this problem persists visit http://www.spritemobile.com/support/support.html. I didn't find a solution on Sprite's support website. How do I get past this error?

Both those apps use .NET CF, which is the same error we're getting with other apps.

I'll try and work on it over the weekend (dayjob is demanding attention ATM). I know CFay said it wans't possible, but I like a good challenge and I take his words to mean that we just haven't found a way to do it yet

I'll let you know how it goes.

alright, i tried in the troubleshooting page, so i'll try here too, i've got 6.5 installed, and everything works great (thanks cFay).

my apps installed right (will have to read back through here later and find out how to get the unlock disabled so i an just use s2u2 since i've got it installed).

so the problem? none of my sounds work and no one can hear me when i make a phone call. so basically, everything works great but the sounds stopped working. don't know what the problem is, so any suggestions?

thanks, and thanks to the one who added the cabs for the programs from 6.1 i was a little upset i couldn't play bejeweled anymore.

Dude if you can get into it, more power too you but the DSM files which are used to reconstruct packages are no longer there because Visual Kitchen deletes them.

After installing the latest version, I found that any program that uses the top bar for a task manager will crash the start menu. The phone is not locked up, but the start menu and even the one on the button no longer function. This happens after opening up a couple of programs. wkTask was the one I was using and I tried another last night with the same thing happening.

I also as mentioned before that MyMobiler doesn't work anymore, locks up the phone.

Other than the start menu being a whole page rather than two pages, I haven't seen anything about 6.5 that is better. IE is different, but I rarely use it. I like UCWeb. The default today screen really sucks in my opinion and had to go right away. I can sure understand all the work that must go into something like this, but I just don't see the benefit. Can someone tell me why they like this version better and why?

Sorry to not live up to your standards, I really dont understand people who criticize work when they dont know the amount of time that is involved in it and how hard it is to accomplish. If your not happy with it, go back to stock and delete it. Sorry if thats blunt it just drives me nuts seeing these comments.
