Anyone able to use the included Sprite backup? Everytime I attempt to either 'Backup' or 'Restore' the following error occurs: An unexpected error occurred. If this problem persists visit http://www.spritemobile.com/support/support.html. I didn't find a solution on Sprite's support website. How do I get past this error?

Both those apps use .NET CF, which is the same error we're getting with other apps.

I'll try and work on it over the weekend (dayjob is demanding attention ATM). I know CFay said it wans't possible, but I like a good challenge and I take his words to mean that we just haven't found a way to do it yet

I'll let you know how it goes.

Dude if you can get into it, more power too you but the DSM files which are used to reconstruct packages are no longer there because Visual Kitchen deletes them.

alright, i tried in the troubleshooting page, so i'll try here too, i've got 6.5 installed, and everything works great (thanks cFay).

my apps installed right (will have to read back through here later and find out how to get the unlock disabled so i an just use s2u2 since i've got it installed).

so the problem? none of my sounds work and no one can hear me when i make a phone call. so basically, everything works great but the sounds stopped working. don't know what the problem is, so any suggestions?

thanks, and thanks to the one who added the cabs for the programs from 6.1 i was a little upset i couldn't play bejeweled anymore.

Hi, I don't have a Treo Pro, but am looking at getting one. The i780 has a 320x320 screen and looks great running 6.5.1 at 128dpi and 96dpi. The 128 dpi is very usable they say and with a theme they cooked up (attached and should work on the treo) it makes the big buttons work well on the smaller screen. The author says he will release his kitchen, so hopefully the tweaks and advances they make can be borrowed onto the treo pro. Check it all out at

Im a noob, and this is the first time I will be flashing my Plam Treo pro, I never had a cdma phone before.
This is my compnay phone and I want to know if I will run the flash, do I need any information to connect the phone back to network? Any access code or anything?
Also I'm not sure if my phone is unlocked, how can I check that and where do I find the unlock files, I been looking but I'm unable to find.
Please help

You may want to think twice about flashing a company phone... However if you so choose, since it is CDMA, it will/should auto-detect your settings for you... If it's 'unlocked', It will work for other providers --- this isn't pertaining to 'unlocking' your phone... This just allows you to copy over unsigned ROM's...

In my experience, I just flashed the phone, and it connected to my provider's network right away -- I didn't have to manually configure anything.

I ran the updater couple of times and everytime I'm getting the error 262, i did the soft reset and unplug the USB cable but so far no luck.
Any idea why it is not upgrading?
