Still loving the ROM and starting to explore it more - Can't get Google Maps to really work - it will store a search but won't map - is there something else I need to install ?

unfortunately i do not use this feature of google maps. are you using the latest version of googlemaps? have you tried using the new bing app, i attached it, it has some new features that could be comparable to GM

Its the 'map search' tab thats in the manila 2D ROM itself(in between weather and programs) - not an added cab - no option or GPS setting that I can find to update or tweak. I'll give the bing one a try as an added option.

I'm using only cabs posted on the 1st page of this thread (still too much of a noob to stray yet) - other issues... YouTube gets a kp5.exe error and WallStreet won't load.

Not complaining - I'm happy, just thought you'd want to know and if there's a fix on my end, I'd love to know.

oohh the maps on manila 2d? no unfortunately i do not know of a fix. Since manila 2d was never reeeally meant for the treo pro some things might not be fully functional (it took some work for htc album and audio manager to function)
for youtube and wallstreet use attached .cabs

Thanks for the add'l cabs, will give them a try. Got my Treo working like I want (for the most part), but am buying a back-up - will give your latest 6.5s a go when I do.

The ROM is good, but I have a problem with some of the stuff overlapping, the add program boxes are seen on the map search page, the weather page, text message page, and mail page, how do I get rid of the overlap of the boxes? The home page is fine. Oh and on the people page you can see the boxes from the add program page.

Don't have that problem at all - there was an overlap issue at the bottom of the screen (as noted) upon 1st boot but followed the instruction posted on the 1st page and it went away - check the install steps posted and if that doesn't work, you may want to reflash and follow the steps precisely.

i always read instructions, i don't just jump right in and flash, i have flashed and hard reset twice, thanks. If you don't want to help find, I'll try another ROM thanks. Thanks I got it, I used a theme from my Omnia, okay so i missed that one, I thought that was for something else and didn't think it was mandatory, again thanks.

you are welcome. i am glad you figured it out. i am working a basketball camp so when i responded earlier it had to be short, if you took that as unhelpful i apologize but i think i am usually pretty nice about helping people out
