ok so cool i think that worked, and i like how with that one, the pic is in the thread with all of the text messages, and not a seperate message. Thanks man and lemme know if you get that contacts scrolling thingy fixed, and i had some issues with mine freezing up alot too, wasnt sure if there was a fix for that, on 6.5 that is. Thanks!

Fixed the dialer scroll and updated a lot of stuff in my 6.5 thread check it out

Manila 2D ROM...

Finally got around to activating the phone and couldn't do it - no 'Update PRL or Profile' under the system settings tab, and their activation code couldn't access either. Do I have to reflash to stock 6.1, activate the phone and then flash back ?
My apologies again if this is a newbee question.

there is no update prl or profile because these roms are generic carrier (no settings installed), there is a .cab posted on the first page however to install prl and update, there is also a sprint customization .cab posted to set up sprint internet connection....

Well, learned a lot in a short period of time and sorry again for bugging - am up and running.
I'll test 21056 out for a few as well as review the whole Manila 2D 'thing' and maybe try it out as well - but only after DD on my part

I'm only a couple of hours into this, but so far WM6.1 Manila 2D is IT !
For me, this is what 6.5 should have been - I keep instant calendar entry and the start drop-down menu while adding all the Manila adds with full access via the D-pad and complete 1 hand usage - WELL DONE !
I'll put it to the test over the next couple days and report back but so far - no issues.

2+ days in and this thing is running smooth, responsive and easy on the battery - no issues. I didn't think I could get excited about a WM phone but this by far the best and virtually everything I need. When my Centro crashed a couple of months ago I figured I'd dabble with the TP2 and then this until the EVO came out and even though its an Internet/Customizable Powerhouse - 95% of what I do on a phone (calls/schedule/text) is easier to do on this. You've turned a decent phone into something thats very good and enjoyable.
