So if the ringer doesn't work on the new rom is there any difference between it and the previous rom?

On every 6.5 rom that I have tried, the Palm phone canvas has blurry contacts when you scroll through them. What fixes it for me, is I use MemMaid to terminate the cprog.exe process, and then install the attached cab. After reboot, no more blurry contacts and the phone program seems more responsive. Not sure what the cab does (it was posted in one of AcidHax's threads by another user). It worked on Mike's first release, but with his second and third, it renders the phone function inoperable. FYI.

@tomdt, like ooxtreme said, its not about this is better than that for example,
i like BigE's roms cuz i didnt have to install much or any cabs. just flash, set up prefs and go(also had RealVGA

)
mike's is really lean which makes it fast
ahax's roms was a better choice than CFAY's IMO, so there u go with that geekers get toooo caught up in "which is best" or want sum1 to tell them which rom that they shud use. jus take a couple hours out of a weekend or weekday. try as many as u want and determine for urself..again, this is not a stab at geekers who ask that question, im just putting my point of view into words.

That is one thing i love about big D's rom... just flash and go!
rarely did i had to use other software!

I know when i first got the "addiction" i must have flashed every rom out at the thime 3 time each trying to find the on the best filled my needs

I finally tried s2u2 and i must admit i didn't like it too much! just too much stuff for just a simple unlocking app... i much rather use the built in unlock-er... which is not as flashy but plenty fast and straight to the point...

I use S2U2 for the fullscreen caller id, the calendar events on the lock screen and whatnot but it all comes back to what you like. Does the stock 6.5 lock take a min to start?

Edit: I think im on to something here you get unlocking sound but the call screen is still locked

So I updated my PTP to the MightyROM_Panther_032910.

Everything is looking good. (Nice work on the MightROM theme btw)

Only thing that isn't working for me is the Windows Media Player. It was working fine on my late update which was the MightyROM_Panther_031610 but is missing the files to run it I guess. I reflashed the new rom a couple times just to make sure that it wasn't an install error but each time it still didn't work.

Does anyone know where I can get a cab file to install the windows media player manually. I looked online at microsofts sites and other places and couldn't find anything.

i have it to lock manually or every 5 minutes of inactivity... there is information available although not as much as s2u2... it really behaves instantaneous... no delay! you tap the screen on touch the red button and the slider appears with caledar events, time and battery info... the slider is also sort of a crossroad where you can choose where to go...
