first off look in the xda forums and youll find that the windows lock that comes with 6.5 does not work well at all with custom 6.5 roms its real slow and dam near useless imo. get yourself s2u2 for you slideing needs. the scroll issue is not a glitch. its something with our phones that causes this. acidhax had a rom that fixed the scroll issue but then there was no ringer and you had to use adv config to fix it, but before we get ahead of ourselves this fix does not work with the latest mightymike rom and the ringer issue that it has

Thats Wierd! Big D's Rom was working perfectly when it came to that! Which is the reason i didnt use s2u2

Another thing! the scroll issue glitch does not happen on mighty rom version 1


so.... ill guess ill go with one for now! it might not be as eye candy but it works!



which version of s2u2 would you recommend for our phones..?

i have the latest i think it 2.33 and it works perfect!!! ive tried the bige roms and found them to be to "heavy" for my taste so never really did much with them

Hi - I'm just a user who likes the features of WM6.5, and find the TP with 6.5 and a good third-party browser is a pretty useful device.

I was using BigE's most recent ROM and it has been very reliable for me. Everything seems to work, hangs are very infrequent, and rarely have to reboot to get control back.

I tried Mighty Mikes most recent ROM, and installed RealVGA 96dpi. I found that it hung more often, the SIP keyboard was not present, and I had to reboot more. Maybe I was just had a bad day, but I went back to BigE's

You seem like someone who is interested in the development for the sake of development. What do you (or any of the other affectionados) think are the advantages of Mighty Mike's over BigE's, and how do they make a real life difference to someone like me who is interested in the most practical and reliable. Thanks for any insight.

I finally tried s2u2 and i must admit i didn't like it too much! just too much stuff for just a simple unlocking app... i much rather use the built in unlock-er... which is not as flashy but plenty fast and straight to the point...

I use S2U2 for the fullscreen caller id, the calendar events on the lock screen and whatnot but it all comes back to what you like. Does the stock 6.5 lock take a min to start?

Edit: I think im on to something here you get unlocking sound but the call screen is still locked

i have it to lock manually or every 5 minutes of inactivity... there is information available although not as much as s2u2... it really behaves instantaneous... no delay! you tap the screen on touch the red button and the slider appears with caledar events, time and battery info... the slider is also sort of a crossroad where you can choose where to go...

wait so what exactly is the problem with mightymikes roms (if any)?

i was under the impression that his roms were 100% perfect and working besides the ringer issue. can anyone make a list of issues in all 3 roms so mike can fix all those issues at once?

first release has blue-tooth issue's (blue-tooth hardware not detected)
second release - no ringer
third - no ringer except with telus service (according to mike himself)


but i'm pretty sure he knows all this already


let him take his time and go through the rom completely when he makes a rom its dam near perfect!!!!!

Actually, the First ROM was the vanilla 6.5 with the start menu on the top bar.
That one works fine.

I think the first one that ooxteme refers to is the first 6.5.3 release Mighty made for the TP, and that one did have the no-BT issue.

I'm using the true first one and it's been very stable.

UPDATE: No disrespect intended to ooxteme with this post. I just thought it was a bit confusing because I experienced the no BT issue on the 6.5.3 ROM, but have been having good luck with the original 3/16 (I think) one.
