man..its been so long since i looked into picturemail alternatives...so is arcsoft the way to go?? has someguy updated his sMMS app or anything? r there any other alternatives i havent mentioned??? TIA

flash a diff rom and c what it does...i had to replace my last treopro cuz the screen went out..that mite be the issue here..do u pay for insurance?? the $7 one?

I'm gonna try Mike's original ROM (currently I have v2).. and c what happens. No I don't have insurance but I've had this problem (the screen align.) with other roms i flashed to earlier & i always manged by doing various things.. the that worked best was having someone call me and "quickly" hit ok!!!

As I promised u.. I found a solution to the annoying align screen problem. To by-pass, just go to this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355010) and download/install (in your PC) a very sweet & helpful app. (called Factory Code/Remote Screen Alignment) which easily & simply allow you me to by-pass the screen align step.. worked like a charm!!!

OK. Here's another arcsoft cab. I think it was the original from the Sprint Treo Pro. Works on mine with the original MightyROM. (Should probably run the remove cab first just to be safe.)

Let me know if this does not work.

Hey Mike,
My buddy donated a treo pro to me. I have the 031910 version on and the ringer is not working. I am very new to the Win mobile, but love it all the same. Your ROM update is Fantastic and I want to use it. I think the only thing not working is the ringer (meaning all incoming calls are going to voicemail whether on vibrate or not), and I cant seem to figure out how to lock screen and buttons with the red "End" button like I could on stock ROM. Your suggestions are appreciated.

Gonna get the ringer fixed up.


And the lock screen still works. I press end all the time to lock my buttons. not sure what you may be doing wrong

Hey I changed my theme and now can't get the MightyRom.com black default one to come back... is there a CAB of it?

Thanks! ROM is so much faster than the previous I was using.

But put me in the list with "No Ringer".

Going back to old sprite backup of phone before flashing this one.... but anticipating a fix somehow. (making a backup now of current setup... maybe a soft-patch can be applied to existing ROMs when a fix is found)

so....are there any simple instructions for the average Joe like me to flash and install this ROM?

I've always wanted to upgrade to WM 6.5 but having to lose my programs and settings prevented me from doing so. The prgrams i can replace, though a hassle but the settings i have are just right and based on this thread, there are problems with the ringer and MMS.

Can someone make a list of issues with the current ROM build so Mike can fix them in his next build?
